While not as easter egg-filled as their last few posts, The Amazing Spider-Man's fictional Daily Bugle Tumblr has published another article by Ned Leeds, this time focusing on Oscorp. Check out the full article for yourself below.

By Ned Leeds, City Bureau

Has the District Attorney’s office opened an official investigation into potential criminal activity at Oscorp Industries? All involved have been denying but I’ve got a pretty sensitive… dishonesty detector.

An investigation is to be expected — The Lizard (Oscorp’s own Dr. Curt Connors) wreaked havoc on the city and killed a police hero. If my local video rental place did that, they’d go out of business! But perhaps that’s not a good example.

The DA and the NYPD seem to be (and ought to be!) collaborating on an in-depth investigation of every aspect of Oscorp’s operations.

Just because Oscorp has a few congressmen in their pockets doesn’t mean that they’re above the law. The truth will emerge; public safety comes first.

We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features:
Director: Marc Webb
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn
Sally Field as May Parker
Campbell Scott as Richard Parker
Embeth Davidtz as Mary Parker
Colm Feore as Donald Menken
Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Sytsevich/The Rhino
Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn
Marton Csokas as Dr.Kafka
B.J. Novak as Alistair Smythe
Martin Sheen as Ben Parker
Chris Zylka as Flash Thompson
Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy
Felicity Jones in an unspecified role

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.

Exactly! One of the things that bothers me about the "Amazing Spider-Man" movies is that they do not adequately capture the characters. These filmmakers do not "get" Spider-Man.

Actually, that is out of character for JJJ not to somehow implicate Spider-Man in the death of Captain Stacy.

It doesn't surprise me that these people don't understand Spider-Man when they had Peter flailing around NYC beating up random people instead of realizing that with great power comes great responsibility.

I miss Sam Raimi he knows spider-man and his world better than webb. The reboot is a disgrace one of the worst superhero film I can think of lot people don't like sm3 but it had more heart and charm then ASM will ever have ASM is a money grab with zero heart.

SM3 is disappointment but going back to it a much more fun film and more enjoyable then ASM which destroy who spider-man is they let uncle ben killer get away for peak sake that just frustrating and un forgivable and Andrew plays peter as a douche.

Nobody I know have anything bad to say about the new series. They love it.

They always tell me: " the new series are much more true to the comics "
" It's not that childish anymore"
" the tone is better and the new Peter Parker is perfect"

I agree with them. And I loved Tobey as Spider-man, and I still love spider-man 1,2 and actually the third one as well.

But TASM captured something that I always wanted to see in the Raimi movies. I don't know what but they did.
