"I'm not thinking about Spider-Man," he told
The Vancouver Sun while promoting his new movie,
The Social Network, where he plays Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin.
"I accepted Spider-Man because it means a great deal to me, and that's the only reason."
"Spidey is a great symbol: The skinny 20-year-old who feels stronger on the inside than he looks on the outside...I'm very skinny," he laughed.
"Right now, I'm just honestly appreciative of the great stories I've been given the chance to tell. I am an actor and I only want to be an actor. I can't give the other stuff credence."
The following is an interview the actor did with
MTV News earlier this week where he talks about how he feels when working on a new film set including the upcoming
Spider-Man reboot. It's not really interesting enough to post on it's own so I figured I'd include it here!
