GOOD FOR Miles! WHat I like is that now MILES can take up the highschool version of Spidey with the everyday issue that Peter had when he was young, with Peter doing bigger things and possibly mentoring Miles when he needs it.

Really nice looking art work, however there are two frames that are clearly copied in the computer, one is just zoomed in. fifth page, frame 6 and 8. That's kinda lame...

Miles is the only alternate Spider-Man to hold a candle to Peter. Bendis' first run was pretty garbage though the art was superb.

Ben Reilly's story is horrible, him being a crazed clone, and his transition to being good. The arc was so poorly written, and it doesn't age well that it's hard to use the character well anymore. I liked the original 2099 Spider-Man run better because Miguel's story easily can be adapted. The 2 newest 2099 runs were pretty good, although in his stories the writing focuses too munch on the futuristic elements.

He's blackspanic.

@mancalledsting
There are a lot more than that. Something like a dozen characters who are sharing the name.

So tired of the comic companies changing classic heroes to either a different race or gender! If they want a minority hero, here is an idea create one! STOP MAKING THE OLD HEROES INTO A DIFFERENT PERSON. Really a female Thor is so stupid, and Spider-Man is Peter Parker not some Mexican kid! And Captain America is Steve Rogers not the Falcon. These stupid changes to classic heroes is why the only comics I read now are the Star Wars ones!

The look is awesome. I hope they use it as a pre-costume some day.

I can't think of all the names right now but there's Miguel O Hara and Hobie Brown. Basically all the perihperal vigilantes from Spider-Man comics got a Spidey suit and work for Parker Industries.

Saying they created a new hero with Miles is ridiculous, he is called Spider-Man. My issue is not with the kid's race, only that they "created" a new hero but really only copied one and changed the race!
And as far as the new black stormtrooper, Finn was a great character, again race is not the issue, only the changing of established characters!

Super excited to read this. Love Miles. I'm a bit confused though if this is implying that Miles Mom is alive again. I liked that her death was sort of his with great power comes great responsibility moment. Still, cool to see Miles and Peter in the same universe now. Hope Miles will at least be a minor character in the MCU, just have him exist and be peters friend.

The teenager comics right now are really up my alley. I like Miles, like Kamala, like Sam Alexander.
