SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME's Disney+ Premiere Date In The U.S. Has Been Revealed

It's been confirmed today that Spider-Man: Far From Home will be available to stream on Disney+ in the U.S. beginning Friday, November 3.

Sony Pictures and Disney entered an agreement to bring Spider-Man's movies to the platform in 2022, but things are somewhat complicated on that front as Netflix currently remains involved due to a pre-existing 5-year deal (hence why Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is heading there first later this month).

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 arrived on Disney+ in August. All three of Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man movies have been streaming on the platform for a while now, as have The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Homecoming

Next up will be Spider-Man: No Way Home, though the threequel was recently added to Netflix in the UK.

For some reason, Spider-Man: Far From Home has proven to be incredibly divisive among fans in recent years. Part of the reason for that is because it took the web-slinger to unfamiliar surroundings; however, some fans were unhappy that Iron Man's shadow still loomed so large over Spidey's franchise.

"The perfect Spider-Man movie, Far From Home is an adventure for the web-slinger like no other and will leave fans talking for a long time to come," we said in our review back in 2019. "Prepare for your jaw to be left on the floor!"

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series. Our friendly neighbourhood superhero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter's plan to leave superheroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent.

The movie was directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Zendaya as MJ, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, J.B. Smoove as Julius Dell, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Martin Starr as Roger Harrington, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, with Marisa Tomei as May Parker, and Jake Gyllenhaal as Quentin Beck/Mysterio.

Spider-Man: Far From Home grossed over $1.1 billion when it was released, becoming the wall-crawler's highest-grossing movie (until Spider-Man: No Way Home was released) and the first to cross the $1 billion mark.

Are you excited to watch it on Disney+ next month?

I think the problem with Far From Home, if anything, is the humor. As often happens, they took stuff that worked in the first movie and then over did it in the sequel, losing the charm. No Way Home also had some humor that didn't always land.

One of the best CBM trilogies out there. But I have to say, I'm ready for the classic cast. Mary Jane, etc.
