Gwen Stacy's (Emma Stone) Valedictorian Speech On THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Set

Gwen Stacy's (Emma Stone) Valedictorian Speech On THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Set

In Gwen Stacy's (Emma Stone) valedictorian speech she talks about how all of her fellow classmates feel as though they are immortal. Hmm... foreshadowing? Listen to the speech and come see Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) seize the moment by kissing Gwen.

In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter Parker hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter Parker when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

Well, look last articels. People complained that Peter is teenager, acts too realisticly and kiss Gwen Stacy too many time. This makes this movie to them Twilight

I really dug TASM, but im a bit worried about this one, mainly because of Rhino. I just don't know how that wont come off as goofy somehow. Electro seems cool though, and hopefully they wait until TASM3 with Green Goblin to off Gwen.

I don't get some of you "fanboys". You claim this movie is going to suck and yet you literally know nothing about this movie at all. The only thing you're basing your opinion on is set pictures of scenes that you don't know the context to, a previous movie (which has nothing to do with this movie, other than the same characters) and you haven't seen a trailer or any kind of footage whatsoever. It makes no sense to hate on this film, yet. It may be shit once it hits theaters, or if could be a masterpiece but you won't know til it comes out.

You all asked for new villains and that's what you've got so far. The lizard, electro and rhino are all new, never before seen villains in any movie. And none of you know if the green goblin will show up, yet most of you assume he will be in this and you even judge the movie based off this. You all say "there are too many villains in this movie!" But so far it's just two. You say "there are too many new characters in this!", but it's just Mary Jane, and the two mentioned villains. You don't know if Glenn will die, or how much screen time MJ will have. And yet you still bitch.

Oh, and the costume. You idiots all complained the costume in the first one sucked. You get a literal comic-to-movie costume in the sequel and you still complain claiming they're copying the original. Well, that's cause that's Spider-Man's freaking costume!!! They fixed something that was a legitimate complaint from the first and you still complain when they listen to you!

No wonder we are ignored when it comes to opinions about how movies "should" be. Smh

I dont wanna see all these setphotos.. but I have to! @LMFAO - yea, it's almost like people complain about to many villains, and then after that why Green Goblin is not in the movie ( and then why he is in the movie). People come out very stupid this way. They haven't put out any trailers or official pictures yet so I don't why people pretend to know how this movie will turn out.

So anybody who doesn't like the new movie is a hater and a fanboy? Do you guys honestly think we wanted the movie to suck? We didn't. We go to a movie hoping to love it. There were far too many things in this movie that annoyed me. These pics annoy me because of the same reason I disliked the first movie...Andrew Garfield as NERDY Peter Parker. Basically anybody calling him a realistic nerd obviously never met any real nerds.

@nailbiter

The only real problem I have with it is that negativity breads negativity. People are like sheep, once someone says something negative towards something others tend to follow the trend. Perfect example would be TDK. I personally like the movie a lot. But about a year after it came out there was this overwhelming negativity that hit the web from fanboys and it spread like wild fire. All the sudden, the most praised comic book movie yet was looked upon by many fanboys as crap.

Now I'm all about different opinions, if said opinions are based on sound reason. I realize people like to come on here and bitch for no reason sometimes and I tend to ignore it, but my whole point was that people are making rash judgements on a film they know very little about.

I may be in the minority, at least based off of comments I've read on various ASM2 articles, but I have hope that this movie may be good. I wasn't impressed with the first but if you base your opinion on the sequel to a movie off of the first then you'll end up possibly making a big mistake. My example? TDK and TDKR. People assumed TDKR would be the greatest thing since sliced bread (TDK) but that just wasnt the case. Not a horrible movie, but no where near what people hyped it to be. This is the opposite if this

And people did bitch about the costume. Not as much as other stuff, but people cried fowl on it looking too similar to the original trilogy

Haha for the people who was complaining about Peter wearing his spidey costume doing the graduation, it's now obvious he was late to his graduation fighting crime and he had to change out of his costume into his graduation suit.
LMFA0
LMFA0 - 6/2/2013, 12:43 PM
@hotshot

Not what I'm saying at all. You can like the original trilogy if you want, I still do. All I'm saying is that this version isn't that version of the character. So to try and compare them, other than it being Spider-Man, is kinda dumb.

The way Webb is portraying Peter is not the "classic nerd", he's socially awkward due to his childhood and circumstances. How would you feel if your parents left you and never came back? You'd probably be a little quiet and socially awkward, too

@LMAO has a point on the " negativity breeds negativity" comment. One user(won't mention his name) on the other thread happened to say something negative and everyone followed suit and started picking up thier pitchforks. That thread was the first full on battle b/w TASM fans and people who hated It or haters or whatever you wanna call them, for this film. That was the first time in awhile for TASM I saw hate. It was over a dumb graduation scene too so idk why there was so much resentment

Emma Stone is too old, I can't keep my mind off this tiny detail. Wasn't a big fan of TASM, thought it was better than Spider-Man 3, but then again, Iron-Man 2 was better than SM3... So yeah...
