CES 2017 is currently underway in Las Vegas, and by way of a tie-in, Marvel has released a new Spider-Man: Homecoming promo vid.

There doesn't appear to be any new footage from the movie, (it seems to be a combination of shots from the recent trailers and Captain America: Civil War) but we do get a much better idea of the various upgrades Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) made to Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) new costume.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., and many others, Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and will be released on July 7th, 2017.

Just rewatched Raimi's first two Spidey films the other day. While I'm sure this movie will be great, I'm already at peace with the fact that it probably won't be as good as those first two gems.

Nevertheless, glad to have Spidey home
