SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Promo Art Showcases The Three Leads And Miles Morales' New Costume

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is fast approaching, and merchandise for the sequel is already starting to find its way into stores. Now, some t-shirt designs have been revealed, with the focus primarily on Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, and the newly introduced Spider-Man 2099.

The biggest talking point here is Miles' new black and white costume; it's become the norm for any version of the web-slinger to switch their appearance up between movies, so we're not surprised Miles is getting an upgrade. If we had to hazard a guess, it's probably created for him by Miguel O'Hara, and it could come in handy for their battle against The Spot.

That's all speculation for now, and plot details for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel are relatively scarce. Sony Pictures will likely start pulling back the curtain on this one in the coming months, and it's always possible a new trailer could drop before the year is over.

Expectations are high for this sequel, particularly after its predecessor won a "Best Animated Feature" Oscar. It sounds like the main plan is to massively expand the franchise with this follow-up through the introduction of new worlds and superheroes (possibly including animated takes on the three live-action Spider-Men).

In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse"Miles Morales returns for an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered."

In terms of confirmed cast members, the movie will star Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Jason Schwartzman, Daniel Kaluuya, Shea Whigham, Jorma Taccone, Luna Lauren Vélez, and Brian Tyree Henry.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings into theaters on June 2, 2023.

One of these Tees still has "Part One" written on it. Cool image though.

New white Miles costume, too.

If we do visit Christopher Daniel Barnes' animated Spidey then it will be something super special for me. That's the character that got me into Marvel and hearing that voice again would be sweet.

I'm guessing we're getting a trailer soon. Probably in front on Avatar 2.

@dragon316 - It wasn't bad without the hoodie, should have never added that aspect; especially since it covered up his mask. But that's why they went back to the OG.

Can't wait for this movie but I'm not a fan of the new costume - wouldn't have minded if they'd just streamlined the first movie's suit and made the graffiti parts sharper linework like the comic version, but even then I think I'd have missed the old costume because the graffiti aesthetic really set Miles apart even from his comic book counterpart.

I love the first one and I’m sure this one will be stellar.
I hope the MCU doesn’t rush to add miles just yet while these movies are still going. They’re too good to be overshadowed/compared with the MCU version they go with. Stick with Holland for another trilogy then add miles and his mentee.
