josh hutcherson would have made a bad spider-man.

the audition was lame and they even used matrix 2 music, when neo fights in the frenchmen's castle.

No way Hutcherson is annoying and has the acting skills of a squirrel. He literally had the same face THE WHOLE TIME.

he needed to close his mouth during that scene. anyway, i don't think a fight demo really gives a good feel for what he would have been like as peter. it's interesting that they're using the music from the raimi trilogy considering it's a reboot.

Thank you for posting this wade1210. I always thought he'd make an awful Peter Parker/Spider-Man and this video just confirms it! :) Andrew Garfield, although not my first choice, will do a great job IMO.

Intruder @ Raimis first 2 spiderman films had a good story but yes got the spiderman charecter wrong

I think David Henrie would have made a great Peter Parker. Garfield looks way to old.

I can see why they didnt choose him. He has an amazing jaw line though. I think that means hes more suited for a mask. Something like wolverines, batman and captain america where the bottom is revealed. Im not sure who he could play though.

The stunts that were performed make me nervous lol. The original spider man movies were good. Not sure how they could do it better while repeating the same stuff.

One thing i do like is that they gave him acne just to show he is a regular teen. i hate in high school movies how everyone looks perfect its just not realistic

thank you for posting that. it only confirms why hutcherson was always at the bottom of the spidey possibles list for me. exaggerated one-note facial expressions were annoying. and any young actor could pull off the stunts and the wire work. am not exactly on board with the garfield casting bec of the age factor but he could definitely do a better job than this guy. just not cut out for the role. and the latino review guys just posted this bec they got burned when they were among the sites which broke the news of a hutcherson casting a few days before sony announced garfield as spidey. TLR you didn't help josh any.

He does something weird with his face when he does anything close to a rigorous activity, like "look at me Im a bad ass!" but he's not cuz he was in Journey To The Center of The Earth. EPIC FAIL.

I don't know, i thought i'd like him more actually. Theres was a definite lack of comedy lines durring his fight scene, which i guess i'm ok with. But i'm definitely not ok with his mouth hanging open through out the entire thing???? kinda looked weird. good fight scenes other wise i guess
