The following images were discovered by various Twitter users after the viral was updated with the words, "EVOLVE" "THROUGH" and "ENGINEERING". This led to a page entitled "HUMBLE BEGINNINGS" and contained the three sketches you see below. Where exactly this is leading and what it might be building up to remains to be seen. However, these designs certainly make the concept of Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker using webshooters all the more realistic and believable.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

STARRING:

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard
Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben
Sally Fields as Aunt May
Denis Leary as George Stacy

RELEASE DATE: July 3rd, 2012.

Kind of makes the design grounded and before anyone chimes in " Well if he can design those, then why does he make it a business" that is the whole of point of responsibility. He could sell them on and make a business out of it but he does not want them to full into the wrong hands. Plus it would also give away the fact he is Spider-Man.

Ha! "more realistic and believable" the only way this is going to work if the web comes out of the body like in the Raimi movies if not then is pointless, still waiting for this movie it looks great!

Yeah, now i can make my own web shooters

i like the fact its not coming out of his body. it creates the possibility that he can lose it, run out of whatever its made of, or get stolen forcing him to be more creative .that sort of problem can test out his mental ability to ad lib which is more fun from a movie watchers standpoint opposed to watching spiderman web everything in sight. i can imagine a scene where he is beat up getting chased by something running through the streets parkour style trying to find his backup web slingers.

I love the people who are willing to suspend their disbelief on him being able to make a pair of devices that shoot an adhesive strong enough to carry hundreds of pounds long distances that you can strap on your wrist and use for a reasonable amount of time, but completely lose their crap when it comes to him being able to make that costume.

@Preacher I just think people take this stuff way too seriously on here. I understand to a degree the ownership mentality comic fans have, because after all we're the ones who buy the products and make it popular, but some people get way too carried away. Like all of this Nolanites vs. Marvelites garbage that people keep trying to do. It makes it impossible to have an enjoyable conversation with anybody on here. It's not enough that we finally have good comic book movies (especially in comparison to what we had not even fifteen years ago) but we have to fight over who makes the better movies? It's stupid.

I always thought an interesting compromise between the two could be that he can create the webbing organically, say for repelling or something, but that the web shooters and web fluid provide the propulsion necessary to actually shoot web, for web-slinging and for offensive purposes.

SO COOL!! webshooters have always been one of my favorite aspects of Spider-Man...I never thought we'd see it on film, that it wouldn't work
Minghagz

pretty cool actually. I still find it silly how they light up though. I also hope they don't spend too much time in the movie on him creating the webshooters.

Although web-shooters can make for interesting plot lines, i always thought that they dropped the ball with that aspect of his character. Organic Web-shooters make way more sense to me.

Oh, wolfie, it happens with Iron Man all the time, does that effect the drama and make it weak ? Not at all !

organic webshooters was [frick]ing retarded.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 4/26/2012, 12:50 PM
Giving him the web shooters for the sake of saying he has them is lame. But if he runs out of webbing at a critical moment, THAT, will bring something new to the character we haven't seen: Tension created by running out of webbing.

Avatars are an extension of our personality. Why are all the batman ones mean? Oh i dont know bob, maybe their just mad because after this year you'll have nothing to talk about, while marvel keeps producing.

Go suck on a lemon ^_^

GrayFox1025 - 4/26/2012, 2:02 PM
I hope he either runs out of webbing at one point or the shooters malfunction, otherwise it'd be no different from the Raimi films where he never runs out of webbing

The webshooters showcase Peter's ingenuity, hopefully in a fun way. I read somewhere that a web cartridge explodes in his face. Come movie visiting time, it may be a funny scene to watch. Kinda like how Tony's experiments with his repulsor boots gave the audience a few laughs.

I get that there are other ways to showcase Peter's ingenuity, and I'd be upset if the webshooters were the only way that Marc Webb showed Peter's intelligence. However, the webshooters provide an effective way to exhibit Peter's smarts, and if it's interesting to watch on screen, I see no problem with their inclusion. It's not like they aren't canon.

^

Here here, i second that notion !!!

All you [frick]tards siding with Organic are simply not true Spidey fans so your opinions mean absolute shit !!!

And another thing, why the hate from some of you assclowns with the Mech Webshooters, you had your [frick]ing Raimi movies with the Organic Webshooters

Now let us have our REAL SPIDER-MAN Webshooters

As for you wolfX you moron.....The advantages of having Mechanical web shooters are many. He has at times made fire proof webbing fighting certain fire based villains, electric conducted webbing = Electro,

He can also make adjustments to how it sprays and tensile strength

Ben Reilly created Impact Webbing, and per say in a cross over event facing Superman or another Kryptonian, perhaps he mixes a liquid form of Kryptonite into his webbing to actually give himself a chance.

So many advantages...yet Organic is what seem limited you idiot......so your Argument sucks ...now go play in traffic

Grayfox1025 = Fail

At what point in Spider-man 2 did you not pay attention when he was losing his powers midair and couldn't shoot webbing and fell to a top of a building pipe....and at another
damn point in the movie he tumbled into an alleyway

Didn't run out of webbing?

Think before you type , Jabroni

But yes i do hope for the classic run out of web fluid scenario
**Fingers still crossed that the red radar looking thing on the web shooter is a make shift version of his Spider tracers **

Real Spidey folks with a minor modification
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 4/27/2012, 2:50 AM
Let me get this straight; you're not a true Spidey fan if you like organic shooters. But you ARE a true fan if you like a NON-Spider-man costume, NON-Comic Lizard and altered Spider-man origins. Yeah, okay.
