New SPIDER-MAN 3 Set Photo Leads To Speculation That Mister Negative Might Join The Fray

We think this is a bit of a stretch, but a new photo from the set of the currently shooting Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel has led to speculation that Mister Negative might put in an appearance...

From the sounds of things, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is going to have a lot on his plate when he returns for the next Spider-Man movie, and a new photo from the set has now led to speculation that the webbed wonder might have yet another villain to contend with.

As you can see, a moving truck with F.E.A.S.T. branding was spotted on the threequel's set in downtown Atlanta.

In the Marvel's Spider-Man video game, FEAST (Food, Emergency, Aid, Shelter, and Training) was a charitable organization set up to look after the homeless of New York, but it was also a front for Martin Li/Mister Negative's criminal enterprise. Could Negative end up joining the likes of Electro and Doctor Octopus to form the Sinister Six?

It's possible, but there are obviously other - arguably more likely - explanations. Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) could simply decide to continue her charity work with FEAST (as she does in the game), or this truck might be nothing more than an Easter Egg.

The still untitled Spider-Man 3 will also feature Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Spider-Man 2 actor Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, and TASM 2's Jamie Foxx as Electro , along with returning cast members Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Tony Revolori.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield (among others) are expected to return as their respective takes on Spidey, but that's yet to be made official.

What do you guys think? Are people reading too much into this set snap? Drop us a comment down below.

Remember when people said The Batman was overcrowded? That was the good ole days right there... lol I still looking forward to this movie though.

@Smoothcat - Yeah, it really just sounds like a Batman vs. Riddler film with Oswald Cobblepot & Catwoman in a supporting role

@Smoothcat - Every cape movie with more than two antagonists gets called overcrowded.

Probably just a cute easter egg, with the possibility of Mr. Negative appearing in a later movie.

@FinnishDude - lets be honest here, how many of these easter eggs have actually been followed upon?

@Razorface1 - lol oh Razorface. This is the hype arena! Most theories are completely irrelevant, others, at the expense of "Aha!". Gotta love the CBM. Penny, penny.

The car upfront reminds me of Uncle Ben's car from the Raimi films(aka, the same car Raimi puts in his movies).

@JoeInTheBox - That's all we get of Uncle Ben with the MCU's version, easter eggs.

@JoeInTheBox - Raimi’s “classic”, a 73 Oldsmobile Delta 88, is a yellow, 4-door. Surely it will indeed pop up somewhere in the movie.

@Chewtoy - It'll definitely be in Doc Strange 2, that's for sure.

I’m sure FEAST sprung up post Thanos.

Seriously a stretch. Especially since feast was in far from home. I really don't know how Mr negative can fit in here, outside of just having a business type villain that happens to be named Martin li, similar to how they used Aaron Davis as a random thug without making him the prowler.

@RageDriver2401 - don't forget the wrestler chicks from Spiderman 1 are confirmed to appear. As well as every character Bruce Campbell played all meeting up with each other.

Would be cool if he showed up in this movie, but I'm fine with them just planting the seeds for Mr. Negative to eventually show up with maybe a scene with Peter meeting Li for the first time while volunteering.

If they really are doing a sort of multiverse version of the sinister six, which I hope they are then please let it be with the original members. I suspect the reference to FEAST is most likely just an Easter egg for fans. Oh and get rid of that awful supporting cast.

Mr Negative...
I've never been able to decide if I actually like Martin Li or not.
It seems like once you get thru the part where Pete figures out he's more than he seems, there's not many interesting directions you can take him.
To be fair I've not read anything with him asides from his introductory saga, and the PS4 game.
