The poster campaign for Spider-Man: No Way Home has not been very good, which is a surprise considering how epic this movie is shaping up to be. It's a shame, as the posters for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, for example, were pretty great, and definitely not victims of undeniably bad Photoshop.
This new international poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home continues the trend as Spidey appears to be swinging through a portal miles above the streets of New York City to...fight a floating Doc Ock? It's a weird one, but doesn't dampen our excitement for the threequel in any way.
Based on what little has been revealed in the trailers - not to mention all those rumours - we're going to be in for a treat with this movie, and excitement only continues to build. It certainly looks like one heck of an experience, anyway, and a few less than amazing posters isn't going to change that.
Check out the latest Spider-Man: No Way Home one-sheet below:
"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."
Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).
Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.
