SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME TV Spots Explain Green Goblin's New Look; Another Clip Released - Possible SPOILERS

As expected, it appears the TV spots for Spider-Man: No Way Home will become increasingly more spoilery as we near the movie's release next week. There's a lot of new footage to be found here, including Peter Parker sharing a message with the entire world in which he takes responsibility for the arrival of the five villains who have started unleashing chaos in New York City.

Talking of the bad guys, we get a little more insight into why the Green Goblin so drastically changes his appearance in the threequel; somehow, his mask winds up being shattered, and we can't help but wonder whether Norman Osborn decides he no longer needs the Goblin telling him what to do. Their dynamic in Spider-Man was certainly unique, and is likely to be addressed here somehow.

The latest clip from the movie is a little lighter and comes our way from Good Morning America. Sitting atop the rooftop from Spider-Man: No Way Home's trailers, we see Peter, MJ, and Ned all discussing heading off to college in the wake of the wall-crawler's identity being revealed to the world.

Check out the new TV spots and clips for the movie below:

"For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk," reads the new synopsis. "When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse."

Among the film's confirmed cast members are Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, J. B. Smoove, Benedict Wong, J.K. Simmons, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx. Based on the new trailer, we can now add Willem Dafoe, Thomas Haden Church, and Rhys Ifans to that impressive list of actors (fingers crossed for Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield).

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in U.S. on December 17 and in the UK on December 15.

I will say it again. Out of all the MCU Trios or Duos of friends, Peter, Ned, and MJ feel the most organic. I think it helps that they are good friends in real life but the chemistry between them flows so well it feels real.

I'm gonna reiterate my list of predictions for this movie again (I've been copy-pasting this list every time something is seemingly true). This Goblin bit marks another one that came true.

The prediction log:

1) Lizard and Sandman do in fact die fighting Spidey, it just happens later in their respective timelines. (Seemingly true)

2) All the villains come through with their original looks, but they use the MCU to slowly upgrade. Ock gets nanotech from Iron Spider (Iron Spider is permanently gone after this) and we will see some wild new things with his arms, Electro starts blue, but uses a version of an arc reactor to concentrate electricity and gain better control on how it manifests. Goblin's helmet gets destroyed early on (seemingly true now), but he gets a hold of Vulture tech to reinforce the rest of his suit, repair the glider, and he lifts the goggles and purple scarf for wind protection. Lizard starts with his original look, but he will evolve and get the iconic snout, as well as the lab coat (I think this will involve the green serum looking stuff Aunt May is seen with in the trailer). I think the snout will be present in all the scenes we've seen with Lizard in the trailer (and reinforces the dinosaur comment by Jameson). Sandman might get a new outfit, but is mostly the same, except his daughter dies in his universe, so he is full on raging.

3) I predict a conversation like this among the Spider-Men: Tobey tells Tom Holland that villains stay villains and tend to die by their own hands, no matter how hard you try to save them. Tom says they don't have to die. Andrew says someone always has to die (Gwen Stacy allusion and setup for Andrew's redemption saving MJ from the same fall). Tom is the only character refusing to accept that he can't save the villains from dying.

4) Not only are the villains pulled from their universes moments before their deaths, but both Tobey and Andrew also come through moments before they're supposed to die. They come to this realization later in the movie, and it changes the fight. Tobey sacrifices himself to save one of the villains (Doc Ock). Andrew saves MJ from the fall. The public sees Tobey's sacrifice, but does not see the other Spider-Men. Tobey's death clears Tom Holland Peter's name (this was an earlier prediction of mine, but I'm less confident Tom's name will be cleared).

5) Venom will unfortunately show up in this, in a mid-credits scene. He will be the lingering loose end of the Spider-Verse.

6) The Doctor Strange line "they're coming in, and I can't stop them" is after the climax of the movie, and it's a ton of variants of other heroes and villains coming in, setting up Multiverse of Madness. This might even be the last scene of the movie.

Any chance that the scenes of a (disappointingly) maskless Dafoe may simply be a false-flag by MARVEL (similar to showing the Hulk in Wakanda as part of the charging defenders in that Infinity War trailer) and Dafoe really will be shown with an updated Goblin mask/helmet after all???
