This movie's shaping up wel - the tone, the webshooters, the spot on cast (who better to play uncle Ben than Martin Sheen?)
The only thing I prefer about the Raimi version is the suit. They managed to make the suit a spitting image of the comics and look badass. It just seems like the only reason they've changed the suit is because they had to in order to distinguish themselves from Raimi's films. The new suit's not bad, just unnecessarily differnt.

I'm officially sold on this guy now. He spoke with such passion, and anyone who feels that strongly about the webslinger definitely gets my vote. He was born to play the complex role of Peter Parker.

Exactly what @FriendlyNeighbourhoodJoSh said....I wish the other Spider-Man films had never came out so I could enjoy this new one that much more.I really think this will be the Spider-Man film we should've had in the 1st place,Andrew's a great young actor and embodies Peter..looking forward to it

The dude is clearly a true fan...and honestly as much I thought Tobey was decent anyone who thinks he's the be all and end all of Spider-Man has clearly never picked up a Spider-Man comic, I'm looking at you here KEAHI...because seriously the guy hasn't really proven himself as an actor outside one movie being Brothers whereas Garfield has done far more impressive work in his shorter career. Garfield's going to be awesome. [frick] the haters.

Garfeild, you are awsome. But still don't mean much now, after all the Marvel fanboys talkin big talk about Cap America, it's apparently not as big as it is hyped, gotten alot of that from the movies this year so im not to giddy about the Spider-man movie, could end up being another "meh" movie. Still, here's to hoping it won't cuz passion like that is one in a million in Hollywood.

Spidey is and always will be my favorite superhero and I'll always love him, because I can relate to Spidey. I wish I could play Spider-Man but I'm black so thats a big NO on the forehead but Nicholas Hammond, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are great enough as are

Umm...Was he reading from a written speech? That loses some credibility and believability points with me. You can make anything sound good if you write it keeping in mind what people want to hear. Speaking off the cuff is where you get the true sense of where someone is coming from.

As one of the skinny guys that always felt a part of spidey i can say andrew is officially awesome. you can tell he is so passionate about it and spiderman really has made an impact on his life. that literally almost made me cry. im extremely happy for that guy and i know he is going to rock tha shit out of web head.
