After Spider-Man scoring veteran Danny Elfman and director Sam Raimi’s much-publicised falling-out, word has emerged on a replacement composer for the next instalment of the web spinner’s adventures.

Christopher Young, who has created music for a torrent of films including The Grudge and The Core, has been hired score Spider-Man 3. It’s not his first experience with the superhero, though – Young was responsible for “additional music” on Spider-Man 2.
