This movie looks amazing, finally showing us his parents left him with a bit of a backstory, but no Lizard in this teaser damn!

I think the trailer was ok, quite good, I like the way this film is going, however one thing i'm skeptical about is the 1st person 'spidey-view' when he's swinging, I think if it happens only once or twice I can live with it but if that happens throughout the whol film I'm gonna feel so sick, it's gonna feel like a theme park ride at Universal, not what we want in a film....

Yup! Looks like he was bit on his neck. Hey I'm a big Spidey fan...Batman first, then Spidey. Heck those 2 make up the bulk of my comic book collection. But I think I'm gonna pass on this one...I'll take it in wen it comes out on dvd. Thing is, Id rather see another origin tale if the movie was connected the the MCU. Still, I wish the movie the best at the box office nonetheless

Of course Andrew Garfield's Spidey was bitten on his neck. It's like half his body.

Can people really look at these screen grabs and still ask why everyone says the film looks to be really dark? It know it's a bootleg video, but turn on some lights already!

I think it looks incredible.

In that one shot where we see cars getting thrown around, I'm assuming thats the Lizard running through the street.

Hopefully when we get the HD version of this we'll be able to get a glimpse.

I won't lie. I did find it slightly underwhelming BUY I appreciate that there's most probably a lot more work to be done on the cgi and most of the other Superhero movies were just as tight first trailer round. I'm still looking forward to it jus as much as some of the others. Garfield will be ace!

High five on getting some screengrabs!!!

They won't use the POV the entire film, it'll be used once at most and that will be the 'learning his powers' period of the film.

@ Chewtoy: So you would like them to... turn off the dark? hahaha.

Seriously though, I agree, hopefully it is just the quality, these things often look a lot darker then the real versions. It is going to be an epic weekend!

Looks dark, and interesting. But, it will take me awhile to adjust from Raimis movies. Tobey in my eyes is parker.

So he gets bit in the neck? At leats it happens in an actual lab and not his attic. I'm really excited for this, but what worries me is that there changing things that don't need to be changed. There more like the comics in many ways but in others where raimi got it right they seemed to have changed it (bit on the neck, suit, Uncle Ben's death/dialogue). Still ooks good though. But show me the lizard!!!!!

I think the Lizard is in there. Look closer at that brief bridge scene. Something is tossing around those cars and it clearly ain't Spidey.
