We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead. It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp...

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

I'm glad they gave us an incomplete look at the Goblin. I def wouldn't want him to look like this. He needs to mutate and throw on some purple already. I wouldn't mind armor if he had a dark purple cloak over parts of it and had a mutated face

The art in the second row all the way to the right is pretty cool.

Jason Issacs would be a casting for Norman Osborn pretty darn close to Dafoe. Dafoe of course is legendary, but Issacs really can portray a villain, and that face is so close to the Osborn face of the comics

The glider is nice but very thin else is....huh
I get why they did the designs the way they did here. Everything in superhero movies is supposed to be mechanized an have a military feel to it

@ManCalledSting

I agree. Lots of Spider-Man mythos in the movie, Spider-Man himself was the best in any movie, Stone is especially great, fun seeing three villains Electro, Goblin, and Rhino, and the stages set for future films.

Why only horrible Goblin designs are allowed in Spider-Man movies is beyond me. They should have just stuck with the original animatronic Goblin mask Raimi had made for Spidey 1:

just make his ears actually long, his face greener, his chin, nose, and bone cheeks protrude more and dehaans goblin would be great. also lose the damn freakn hair. looks horrible. give him a real hoodie.

@0mega

Exactly. Thowing a bitch fit because he couldn't get his way and crying "you're a fraud, Spider-Man" is hardly character development, nor is it a believable catalyst for his villain turn.
Tony93

no motive or explanation as to why the suit was there. it was just "there" for him to put on. reminds me of venom
