In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro, Sally Field as Aunt May, Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn, and Dane DeHann as Harry Osborn. The movie hits theaters May 2nd, 2014.

Damn that was [frick]ing cool! The CGI gets better with every new trailer/footage. So that's good. I really dig the swinging, i think it'll be the best swining sequences since SM1/2

This looks AMAZING, pun definitely intended.

And I fail to see how this is been "promoted to overkill", it reminds me a lot how The Avengers was promoted in 2012 and Iron Man 3 in the last year. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 looks like the biggest film of 2014, it's been marketed as such.

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, and while Days of Future Past doesn't look like nothing we haven't seen from the X-Men yet, I'm even anticipating that one too. But The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is THE event film of the year, IMHO. Done right, TASM2's jump at both quality and box office could be very impressive.

Anyway, Spidey is going to be huge this year, and I wish we get to see HD quality version of these motion posters. First one it's crazy awesome, just a shame it isn't with a better video quality.

Iron Man 3 was the best film of 2013 and The Avenges was the best film of 2012 when it comes to CBMs. It's not about what "this site" thinks, but what the World thinks.

It's not really a matter of discussion imho. But to each his own.

I thought 2013 was a big step down from the marvelous year of 2012 in terms of CBMs

The swinging on TASM2 looks out of this world. It's literally like Spider-Man came to life. Andrew Garfield's Spidey is at the same level to RDJ's Iron Man to me.

How can you complain about Spider-Man being over promoted? I mean... come on. it's Spider-Man!
