"I’ve heard something about it," Marc Webb replied when Cinema Blend asked the director about Felicity Jones' recent comments about playing "The Goblin's Girlfriend" in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. "She does have sort of an interesting relationship with Norman Osborn at the beginning of the movie. That’s an interesting interpretation. But she does in fact, yes, work for Norman Osborn, but I wouldn’t say..." It sounds as if we probably shouldn't take Jones' comments too literally then. As for those recent reports of Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Trilogy composer Hans Zimmer being chosen to score the sequel, Webb confirmed that that is indeed the case. "That is happening, yes. He may have another collaborator, but it’s too early to discuss that." Finally, with still no news about an actor being found to play J. Jonah Jameson, exactly how much of The Daily Bugle will we see? "There’s a little bit of The Daily Bugle in the movie."

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

STARRING:

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Sally Fields as Aunt May

RELEASE DATE: May 2nd, 2014.

I'm really interested to hear what Zimmer comes up with for this movie. Every piece of his has been amazing thus far. With all the news we've been getting about this movie lately, I've just gotten more and more excited for it.

Zimmer, only composer to score a Batman, Superman, and a Spider-Man film. Danny Elfman, who I like a lot, only did Batman and Spider-Man.

Hope in TASM3 they play big on the role of Pete at the Bugle. Like explain how no one is buying the Bugle because of the digital age and how Pete's amazing pieces are boosting sales.

So it's confirmed!!! Love Zimmer, no doubt the score will be good. The one thing I dislike about TASM was the score and now I don't have to worry about that anymore:)

WOW SONY is definitely breaking the bank to get Hans Zimmer. His score would definitely amp up the movie. However I like James Horner's score to be in the movie cause I like continuity.

Zimmer is scoring the top 3 most recognizable superheroes in the world.

Zimmer's music, Jaimi Foxx and an actual Spider-man suit should improve this over the first easily.

Honestly, I was hoping Zimmer would stay scoring DC movies, but that's wishful thinking I suppose...
LEVITIKUZ

Zimmer will stay for DC movies.

But that means WB's has to put out more DC movies than Batman & Superman.

Yay! We get all the percussions and simplistic score! Woohoo!

Man of Steel Score Review: While popular among fans, the score was criticized by many professional critics as "overblown" and ''pretentious''. Critical reception for the score has been mixed to generally unfavorable, with film music sites Movie Wave, Movie Music UK and Filmtracks all rating it one star out of five.

But Nolanites are oblivious and can't reason for themselves...as usual!

Should have got John Williams his style seems better for Spider-Man. Zimmer will be great anyways. All I care about now is if the tone will be more lighthearted than the last movie.....one of the biggest reasons why I don't like TASM.

I always wondered how Hans Zimmer would interpret Spider-Man. And now I can hear it!
