Jayden Wilson, the terminally ill 5 year old boy who became an internet star last month, when his father shared a surprise birthday video of himself jumping off a roof dressed as the boy's favorite superhero, Spider-Man, has lost his battle to cancer this past Christmas Eve.

The boy had been battling stage 4 brain cancer for over a year.

From the Daily Mail:

Writing on the family's Facebook page, Mike Wilson, the boy's father said: 'Late on Christmas Eve, Jayden passed away peacefully in his sleep, warm in his bed. Jayden to us, is the most inspiring person ever, fighting this tumor with all his might.'

You fought a good fight, now rest in peace little Spidey.
