Ok folks, who do you think was the best Green Goblin in all the Spider-Man films?

Spider-Man Green Goblin?

Spider-Man 3 New Goblin?

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Green Goblin?

My vote goes to Dane Dehann in Amazing Spider-Man 2.  He brought a genuine intensity to the role and scariness.  You felt like he was genuinely nuts and the actor's ability to emote by facial expression brought the best Goblin to the screen yet.  I can't wait for more!!!

"Dafoe felt like he was holding back"

What? lol Dafoe's Goblin did more damage than Dehaan's. Watch the final fight scene in SM1, Dafoe was not holding back lol

Dehann had potential but based on how TASM2 turned out I'll go with Dafoe.

It's a toss up between DeHaan and Dafoe... Both actors played their parts very well. DeHaan's Harry/Goblin had the more satisfying story-arch, had a marginally better costume, and actually managed to kill a main character, but his appearance as the Goblin was a little rushed at the end... On the other hand, Dafoe's Norman/Goblin was a more interesting character (I think Norman's more interesting than Harry in most versions of the story), and with better material (Spider-Man's a great movie, but the Goblin was a little bit lacking villain-wise) and a better costume could've been definitive.

Defoe by default. His character was shit and he was laughable but still way better than the DeGobhaan.

I liked Dafoe's Goblin but that mask prohibited his facial expression and he couldve been the best had that not been the case

Like I said I just felt Dehaan was the most intense of all he looked nutso

Oh guys! I forgot the Spider-Man musical Green Goblin! LOL

I vote DeHaan.
He actually succeeded in destroying Peter's life.
His screen time was short in costume as the Goblin,
but he left the best impression, and you know he's gonna be a force to be reckoned with
in future films.

Dane DeHaan, dude was actually really scary with what little screen time as goblin he had, I see TASM2 as his origin story anyways lol

1. DeHaan by far. That laugh was so creepy and his acting was top notch.
2. Dafoe was great. A little cheesy, but still fun to watch. Just about the only good thing about the original film.
3. Franco wasn't that great as Goblin. He made a good Harry in SM1 and 2, but just couldn't sell villainous in the third film.

#1 DeHaan. (Troll Doll Goblin)

He was genuinly frightening as Gobby.

#2 Dafoe (Power Ranger Goblim)
He had the perfect acting style to be the best but he was just corny like the rest of Raimis stuff. Still love it though

#3 Franco (Paintball Goblin)

He was an okay Harry but my god i hate the Snowboard glider so much...

Dane Dehaan, of course.

And I can't wait to see what they will make out of him in the next movie.

Willem Dafoe.

No make-up. No CGI. Just acting.

I think for a lot of CBM fans, no one really cared about Willem Dafoe before Spider-man, and then it's like they couldn't get enough of em.

--
James Franco wasn't a "goblin". He had super strength and all that, had a glider of sorts, pumpkin bombs gadgets... but Harry was just an angry guy with a serious grudge to try and reconcile.

--
I liked Dane DeHaan's Green Goblin when I saw it for like, five minutes. His Harry was ok, but nothing special - just a forced-in character who suddenly thinks he's going to die if he doesn't get Spider-man's blood.... even though his father was clearly an old man. Plot details aside, he was just too desperate-sounding to be anything other than a douche.

My vote for the best Green Goblin would have to be William Dafoe. William Dafoe's goblin just reminded me of the Green Goblin even though i was disappointed with that mask.
I also enjoyed Dane Dehaan's goblin even though he showed up at the last act of the film, but i actually thought that everyone would receive a goblin that resembles more of the comics but it reminded me of a techno goblin.
James Franco's goblin just reminded me of an angry teenager on a hover board.

1. Dafoe by a long shot. Now this could definitely change though.

2. Dehaans goblin was still Harry whereas Dafoe played it as a separate character. The spit personality isn't a deal breaker for me though if they let Harry fully transform physically to the goblin. I could see it happening if he transformed outside of the healing ability of his armor. Perhaps the split personality could be incorporated with a full on transformation.

3. Franco was GINO.
