Does MAN OF STEEL Have A Reference To Another DC Superhero?

While Man Of Steel does not come up until late June, many fans are picking pieces of promotional material apart to find a loophole to a future DC Cinematic Universe, well to the luck of the fans, Comicbook.Com have just found out that Batman won't be the only DC character to have a reference in someway or another, but a character that many fans love (myself included): Booster Gold. Now I don't know if this scene will be in the actual film, but it involves Superman and Zod about to clash, so here's hoping it does make the final cut. But as you can see in the bottom corner, there is a orange logo, that of which says "Blaze Comics" (there is an enlarged image below).

Now for those of you who do not know anything about Blaze Comics here is a little something I found online courtesy of Comicbook.Com:

"Blaze Comics is the comic book publisher that publishes the Booster Gold comic book series."

So what do you guys think? Comment below and let us know! If you like what you see here, hit the big fat red thumb!

Man of Steel follows the Last Son of Krypton on his epic journey to become mankind's shinning beacon of hope for a brighter future. With the beliefs and values instilled by his adoptive parents Jonathan (Kevin Costner) and Martha (Diane Lane) Kent, a young Clark (Henry Cavill) sets out to find his place in the world. But when the nefarious General Zodd (Michael Shannon) arrives on Earth, Clark will have to choose between being a normal human or Kal-el,son of Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and humanity's greatest protector and champion. Filmed in IMAX and shot in Vancouver, Chicago and Plano, Illinois, Man of Steel will be released on June 14, 2013 by Warner Bros. Directed by Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen) with a screenplay by David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight) the Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins, Inception) produced feature film will surely be the summer blockbuster of 2013.

I highly doubt it leads to anything with Booster. Probably just a prop elected to be placed in the movie. There will be likely more like it. If they are going to mention another hero it will not be Booster.

There are no superheroes yet in this world. No Green Lanterns will cameo, no Batman references, no Flash, no Wonder Woman, no nothing.

You'll get Easter eggs, like this, but you won't see another hero. I still say Carrie Farris is Carol Ferris, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Just like the actual DC universe, Superman shows up first and inspires others to do the same.

Cool Easter egg. Wouldn't surprise me if this would be used in conjunction with the planned TV show (if that's still moving forward). Glad to see any DC Universe reference in a film.

I'm hoping they relent and keep this film as part of the Nolanverse. I hope that's the Batman they are supposedly referencing.

Booster Gold actually makes some kind of sense. Given that he's from the future and steals relics of past superheroes from a museum, he could have knowledge of the Justice League before it even exists. He knows that Superman isn't the only one out there and that eventually they will get together and form the League. Booster could try to hijack the creation of the League, insert himself into the timeline so that he can become a world famous hero, but by accelerating the natural course of history, it causes unforeseen consequences that threatens the planet and Booster realises that the only way to save the world is to bring the original members of the League together to stop it.

Just an idea off the top of my head.

Well Gotham was mentioned in Superman Returns, so it wouldn't be the first time a shared DC universe was hinted at, but looking at the salary issues Marvel is dealing with, the MCU looks like a bubble that's about to burst. I don't mind the references, but the heroes should be kept separate so the directors have more freedom and we can get films of the same caliber as The Dark Knight Trilogy. Just my two cents, I know I'm probably going to get blasted for this.

This is cool and lame as [frick] at the same-time...way to have a perfect opportunity then waste it on a C-list character...Personally, I want that Coast City Billboard we were supposed to get in Green Lantern...I can't believe Marvel is going to have Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch in a film before Flash...The Batman rumor is a given...especially with Nolan as producer...I would actually take a World's Finest with Bale & Cavill over a Justice League movie...@Vadakin, that actually sounds like a good plot...
