Browsing on Superman Homepage I came across this post and felt it was worth posting. This seems to be going the same route of every other Sypnopsis that has been reported.

here is the rumored production sheet:

The Production sheet reads:
"Clark Kent is a freelance reporter in his early 20's travelling all around the world covering various news stories. However, Kent is forced to fly back into action to attain a fleeing assassin instead of covering an ethnic conflict between the Ghuri and Turaaba clans in West Africa. Upon his return to form
Kent returns to Smallville to learn more about his origins and become the hero he was born to be. (Principle Photography begins 22 August 2011 and shooting will run till April 2012 "Superman" will enter post production May 1, 2012 and will continue till November 2012 set for release in Mid-December 2012 (14th-21st) [Date still TBC]. Principle Photography will begin in [Location TBC] which will act as "Smallville" and will film for about 40 days for 4 scenes [HOMECOMING], [FUTURE DISCUSSING], [SHIP DISCOVERY], and [FUNERAL]. Filming will then move to [Location TBC] where the majority of the film takes place. Shooting here will last Mid-Septermber to Early January 2012. Filming will then move to European and Asia Continents as well as the Middle East for minor shoots from January 5th, 2012 to mid Febuary 2012. Filming will then move to a UK"

What do you guys think? Confirm or Deny.

Personally I'm for it being real or fake story wise. It does talk about release dates and production schedule so who knows. For one on that end I do hope it's real but time will tell.

This is a slow cbm...

Quiet does not equal slow. If the sheet's true they are most likely on track. Nolan's involved and Snyder's keeping a low profile after Sucker Punch. Expect privacy.

@KALel3412- You brought up a good point by the way. I wonder what the running time will be on this film? I mean if the shoot will take a long time...I just want to know about the actual running time for the film. It can't drag on for too long. They need a tight first-act and just let the rest of the film run smoothly. Problem with the last film was that all the scenes dragged on for way too long with nothing even happening.

@Splenda- Yep a funeral scene...I'm hoping Jonathan Kent won't die. Geez he died in the donner stuff. But in the comics he's well-alive. So we'll see.

This movie SHOULD be good as long as Nolan watches Snyder's every move. Which I know he won't because he's busy with Batman...dammit. lol

At least the story is already done though by Nolan and Goyer and with Snyder we'll get that much-needed ACTION that all the other Superman films have always seemed to lack.

This has the potential to the best CBM. I want it to be better than Batman and GL. One can only hope...

@BaneKill- Ah...I'm not sure. Actually i had read blackest night and yeah he's dead actually. I remember zombified earth-2 Supes kept making fun of regular Superman and Superboy about Jonathan being dead.

Damn, they keep on killing him LOL

Man, I hope they don't kill off Jonathan. It's getting tired, already. To have a firm grasp on his humanity, Clark will need BOTH of his parents. I'm hoping Snyder won't don't anything stupid.

this movie will fail because they keep making the same movie over and over and over, i need new badies, new ideas new loves new woman ,new theme song, scrap Donner's films because lets face it all of them sucked in some way expect the first one. try some new things dc with quality and not quantity.
SuperboyPrime1
SuperboyPrime1 - 6/25/2011, 5:20 PM
the real problem with GL was someone at dc was thing about GL2 and GL3 before the first one came out, dc should have taken the star war approach with a sound movie and sound story instead of testing cgi suit that they really want to put on superman , maybe they should call some one from Lucas art wouldn't hurt (ohh i hate star wars)

I stayed in the same hotel across the hall as Russell Crowe is staying and training for his role. 3 other major actors are staying or will stay there. I was told by others (not Mr Crowe) the filming will be in Plano Il and Chicago.
