While Man of Steel is heroically punching its way to worldwide box office glory, the movie has been receiving quite the mixed critical reception. But if there is one thing that everyone can agree on, is how well the marketing for Man of Steel was.

Part of that reason was the trailers, especially Trailer #3, the one with Hans Zimmer's triumphant score. Now check out this Superman trailer done Man of Steel style!

A similar trailer was made a couple of months ago, but this one has all of the original Donner films' actors and voices making it all that much cooler!

Loved the original music & love the new stuff.
Loved the original 2 Superman films & love MOS.

Can we stop with the dead guy who used to play Superman, already? Jeez, you'd think people want to make sure the lid is closed on Supes forever. It's been about 30 or so years since Supes 1 & 2. All you people are doing is building resentment for Mr. Reeve, and that ain't good!

MOS has it's own homages to Superman 2. Did anyone else notice the tanker truck headed for Superman? In Supes 2, everyone thinks it has finished off Superman. In MOS, the same tanker truck flies at him in the same way, but he dodges it.

Zimmer's score was so much better than Williams' that there little point in even discussing it. Williams is a copycat hack. All his stuff sounds like the Superman TV show with George Reeves.

This fan-trailer is a testament to Zimmer's score.

It also shows why so many people were fooled into thinking that MoS wasn't what they thought it was going to be.
