I wonder why with all these cancelled Superman movies, they always brought in alien villains?

What about Parasite? Bizzaro? Metallo? Superman has a diverse rogues gallery. It's almost like WB is afraid to use other villains.

JJ Abrams was set to do Flyboy if I'm not mistaken. Makes me wish the film was made, JJ would be the ideal Superman director IMO. My ultimate dream as a geek would be to see him take on a live action Justice League movie, but I some how don't think that's going to happen :/
