Went over costume designs for the JSA Smallville. They kicked ass on these!! Sticking close to the source is always the way to go. :)

Oh, Smallville: Society airs January 29th. :) We shoot in two weeks so I'm packing up my winter clothes for Vancouver.

I can't divulge the three members in the episode yet, but one of them is someone that should be obvious. A girl. Who likes stars. :)

This is going to be sweet... Johns is very very good writer.

I'm sure he's talking about Stargirl, but I thought they were using older characters. Also, what other show has this many potential spin-offs?They've gotta give us something new next season.

Justice League
Green Arrow
Supergirl
Martian Manhunter
Justice Society
Zatanna
Legion

If I were Geoff Johns I would use Stargirl (Courtney Whitmore), hourman 2 (Rick Tyler), and Jakeem Thunder.

A girl who like stars WTF, i thought THE ORIGINAL JSA was coming through time to the present, not the new JSA!!!???

They will [frick] up the costumes!!! : (

Cool PICS @ DDD!!
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 10/11/2009, 6:36 AM
LOL @ ACCESS!! Yep there gonna [frick] it up, hell they will already if you have the blonde chick from the new JSA in it, CLARK isn't even SUPERMAN yet!!!

More cluster [frick]ing the SUPERMAN saga, what the [frick] is wrong with bringing the REAL JSA in it???

yeah i know you gotta think this a completely different Superman but bringing in the new JSA is stupid,,, they should have the CLASSIC JSA coming through time or something meeting up wiv CLARK (Like LOSH) for some reason, make it WATCHMEN-ISH and we'd have one of the best SMALLVILLE stories ever.

Instead we're gonna get a [frick]ing teenage 90210 [frick]ed up JSA with all leather jackets!!!

Argghhhhh! [frick]ing SMALLVILLE lol.

At the moment theres just no DARK (Vigilante) CLARK, they should've shown more of that than the bullshit with CLARKIE and seen him really taking on crime as promised!!

METALLO was pretty good though an the zombies, but we know their gonna [frick] up JSA!!!!

Should be using some of the ORIGINAL JSA!!! CLASSIC!

@Misterunderhill-what the hell are you talking about. My fiancee is perfectly good looking. Maybe you should go deal with your own personal problems.

@Lee-calm down bro its just a show lol. It is probably the JSA from the past. You got to have faith man LEgion was good this one will probably be good too.

i think its going to be Wildcat Dr. Fate and Star Girl

Lol @ KNIGHT!! ; D

MISTER @ Actually the first episode was i pile of sh!TE in season 9, and we didn't get that DARK CLARK we was all promised.

Yeah its getting better, thank god, after the total crapfest of season 8, im glad CW/WB has got their act in gear!

Its just SMALLVILLE was the best show on TV until mainly season 8 turned up, so they got a lot of making up to do lol. : D

An i was joking about the leather jackets wiv ACCESS ffs.

Anyway if it isn't the real JSA its gonna suck sweaty smelly donkey ballz!!! : D

So, by mister underhills logic, if you don't like Smallville, your a virgin geek. Flawless! Dude do you have any idea what a tool you sound like?

Anyway, Smallville sucks! Ah no, sometimes its good, but that season opener was a joke.

Sorry man but I just can't abide the silly "Virgin, geek, lives in the parents basement" crap, and i didn't realize you were joking! After all, Smallville fans are notoriously defensive when someone disagrees about the show.

Dude i'm a huge Smallville fan but i don't care when people make fun of it. A lot of people don't like it and their entitled to their opinion. This season looks like its going to be the best especially with Zod. Last season would have been the best if Clark would have died at the end.

I think Smallville has good ideas but very poor execution.

MISTER @ Cool you liked the Opener, different tastes etc but it just seemed too rushed to me and jumped about like the last DOOMSDAY ep, last season! Both shouldve been top quality and both wasn't.

Still i'll still say it again, bringing in DOOMIE was the worst SMALLVILLE choice in the whole of SMALLEVILLE history! If DARKSEID turns up in lame mode im turning off lol.

DOOMSDAY is meant for the Movies!!

Still saying all that, last two episodes have been really good, hope they keep it up!

Hey anyone know if its different writers or the same ones last year, yeah i should lol but don't! ; D

Batmanknight
Batmanknight - 10/11/2009, 9:05 AM
I agree @Lee, the seaon opener did jump around a lot.

Doomsday was a bad idea, if they were ever going to use him they should have had Zod or some other villain bring him to kill Superman in a season finale.

LEEE777 - 10/11/2009, 9:12 AM
Knight @ Your Right!!

Hey that rymes lol.

And i mean DOOMIE luv struck for CLO was just the lamest thing posssible.

I loved all the other DC Universe appearances though!!

I would actually watch my first episode of Smalville to see the JSA in it...

Legion was a fantastic episode in Season 8. I have faith in this episode, especially with Geoff Johns writing, and the first 3 episodes have all been great IMO.

Season 8 was good IMO. It was a return to form after the total sh*t that season 7 and season 6 were. It was the best season of Smallville in years.

Though I would love to see Jay Garrick and Alan Scott in this episode. Hope they make an appearance :)
LEEE777
LEEE777 - 10/11/2009, 1:17 PM
BIJOUS @ lol!!

TYLER @ I think it was the best episode in season 8!! ; )

Ive got a bad feeling only JSA we're gonna see is the STARGIRL one an a couple of crappy newbies!!

Damn WB should make a big budget JSA movie, gold mine right there!

akthunder - 10/11/2009, 1:20 PM
I think the writers of Smallville want to be the first to feature live action versions of many unused DC characters. Can't say I blame them.
DDD
DDD - 10/11/2009, 4:28 PM
Of course it's gonna be 90210 JSA guys, its the CW, that's they're target audience!

But I would like to see these guys be the ones who show up!

Jay Garrick, Wildcat 2 (Tom Bronson, Wilkdcat 1's son) and Stargirl. At least Jay would be from the original JSA
and Wildcat's son, who transforms into a panther-man,
would just be plain awesome on screen!

@Mr.Under- Smallville puts about as much effort into being "relevant" as you do into your posts.
