YOU KNOW IM THINKING LITTLE BY LITTLE THEY'LL HAVE TO ADD MOR AND MORE INTO HIM UNTIL THERES NOTHING HUMAN LEFT...NICE LOOK TO THE KRYPTONITE HEART..JUST LIKE IN THE COMICS, METALLO I THINK HAD THAT SAME AS STARK EXCEPT THAT IS HIS POWERSOURCE.
GUNSMITH
GUNSMITH - 9/29/2009, 5:07 AM
MAYBE...JUST MAYBE...GREENE CAN GET HIS GIRLFRIEND TO DO A SHOW...WONDERWOMAN VISITS SMALLVILLE...HEY...ITS POSSIBLE.BRIAN HAS PULL ON HER...PULL HER BRIAN PULL HER...
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 9/29/2009, 5:25 AM
@ gunsmith

they were saying it looks like stark, because in the comics metallo has a compartment in his chest that open like doors, otherwise you can't see the kryptonite. but i think this is a cool reimagining...even though i hate this show

Well, so far on Smallville we have had Tori "man head" Spelling as Waterchick, Now Brian Austin Green as Mettallo. I believe next season they are bringing in Shannon Doherty as WW and Luke Perry as Batman.

spideysweb - 9/29/2009, 7:08 AM
Last season blew chunks no doubt. I am hoping they will make up for that this season. I actually think Green is a decent actor. Not the best but definitely not the worst...Why they brought Spelling into this show is beyond me.

the season premiere was ok. but definately still too much clark whining. he really does need to become more of a badass. i know superman was no batman when it comes to being a badass, but he wasnt a whiny puss either. ill give it till the midseason break then go from there.
spideysweb
spideysweb - 9/29/2009, 8:08 AM
I agree with ya dog...I would love for him to lose the whining.

SHHH - 9/29/2009, 9:15 AM
why was he bleeding in the first episode
spideysweb
spideysweb - 9/29/2009, 9:18 AM
Because blue kryptonite takes away his abilities and he can be hurt.
Bijous
Bijous - 9/29/2009, 9:24 AM
Okay, I've NEVER seen an episode of Smallville (crazy, right?)...should I bother to try to start watching it? Is it worth it to watch it from the beginning? Can I just start watching it now or will I be hopelessly lost?
SHHH
SHHH - 9/29/2009, 9:26 AM
i missed that part of it.
spideysweb
spideysweb - 9/29/2009, 9:28 AM
@bijous, you woulnd't be lost but the first few seasons were pretty good. If you were to miss any season at all I would skip season 8.
bsprecher
bsprecher - 9/29/2009, 9:33 AM
@spideysweb: Crap, that's the only season I have; my friend gave me the complete 8th Season set as a present because he knew I was into comics and I didn't have the heart to tell him that I've never seen the show before either.
Bijous
Bijous - 9/29/2009, 9:34 AM
@spidey: Cool, I'll check out the first couple seasons.

@Brent: You too, huh? What's your excuse?
bsprecher
bsprecher - 9/29/2009, 9:36 AM
I don't know. The whole "no flights, no tights" thing that was going around when it launched turned me off. I thought, "Why watch a Superman show with no Superman?"
Bijous
Bijous - 9/29/2009, 9:37 AM
@Brent: Same here! Now, I think I should have checked it out. But 8 seasons of discs is A LOT to catch up on.
JoshWilding
JoshWilding - 9/29/2009, 9:57 AM
The first episode of season 9 was awful!!! Despite some decent bits here and there it really was the same old crap! We all know he'll ditch the costume in a few episodes and things will go back to normal!

teabag: You're not missing much! It was even so bad it was good! It really was just bad! Out of 42mins there was probably only 5 or 6 that were any better than average!
NataliaRomanov
NataliaRomanov - 9/29/2009, 10:21 AM
I love Smallville! It's a soap opera, sure, but a soap with super powers!
legionbecks
legionbecks - 9/29/2009, 10:55 AM
@ NataliaRomanov its more like soap whiner ;p, no offense i watch smallville too (ps teabag be my friend still even though i watch smallville) but i didnt watch last season's final (meaning i didnt watch it thoroughly i just skipped and watch some scenes) because it was that pathetic and a soap opera series will be much better than that ending believe me ;p...

I watched the first season and then quit it. I'm glad I saved all of those hours of my life by not watching the rest.

smallvile's horrible.
JoshWilding
JoshWilding - 9/29/2009, 12:50 PM
teabag: Im going to give it another episode or to and see if it improves (im not holdong my breath on that) but ill be giving it up as well if itgoing to continue being so incredibly boring/badly written!

Dr. Donald Draper: Man, i wish i had saved all the hours i wasted watching 8 seasons only to have not a single character develop in the slightest!

Smallville's Erica Durrance is the best Lois Lane ever done on screen, big or small. Clark's parents were well done. Some of the cameos have been fun, like Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder, and even Michael McKean as Perry White. But generally, the writing and plots have a good premise that falls flat. There are some fun episodes among the many no-so-good ones.

Good? Justice League

Bad? The Lana-as-an-ancient-witch story. Lana-marrying-Lex, . . . in fact, most of the Lana stuff after the first couple of seasons.
spideysweb
spideysweb - 9/29/2009, 2:49 PM
@brent, that is probably why he gave you that season..LOL I still enjoy the show. I think he is still whinny because he is leading up to be superman. It is about the events in his life that make him who he is. I try not to be too critical as there aren't many superhero shows out there so I watch it with an open mind.

I wish they would have waited more so to have him turn into Metallo. Then people would feel bad about him turning evil and actually care for the character.
Unmasked
Unmasked - 9/29/2009, 7:08 PM
I think clark is taking the right steps to become Superman. After all he is finally training with Jor el.
And when Chloe asked Clark to bring back Jimmy, he stood his ground and said NO.

So is he still whining?? Yeah a little, but you can tell they turned it down a few notches.
legionbecks
legionbecks - 9/29/2009, 10:45 PM
tebag@ yeaaahhhh thanks.
Unmasked@ come on he still did whine on the season premiere like in the scene when chloe asked him to bring back jimmy, and he did whine in the fortress of solitude "i must say good bye to her (lois)". look when smallville began i kinda liked it but same thing keeps happening all over again, look its not just about running and throwing people on the wall, they say the show is about he became the superman then f##k why the hell they dont show it and why the hell did they kill jimyy f##k ;p...and what about the scene fought doomsday one frigging punch (ok am exaggerating, there might have being two to three punches. nuff said. i just woke up gotta go get a bath lol.

Rubbish episode. Callum Blue takes over acting to a new stratosphere as Zod and Green was a weak Metallo, otherwise it was just your usual Chloe/Clark whinge fest.
legionbecks
legionbecks - 9/30/2009, 9:24 AM
Rorschach01@ well what do to right, fans doesnt expect anything from the show beside the whining lol. And whats with the f##king accent ZOD ;p. He was like trying to spit on everybody. lmao.
