Clark is not yet Superman and is not ready for Darkseid. He needs all the help he can get. I love Supergirl.

I think what I read is bullshit. So you telling us, their explanation is that JorEl sent Kara to help Clark because Clark still doesn't have the balls. Like I said in the past, this show it is what it is. Moments I hate some I see decent.

amazing how people still BITCH, though people are entitled to their opinions, how about we actually WAIT and see what Darkseid looks like first before we cast judgment and make a damn fuss. @deadpool, i gotta admit though that Clark isnt ready for Darkseid, and Im gonna be pissed if this season goes south, it might be half and half, the only season i didnt care for was 3.

The producers said it would be 'darkseid but not what you would expect' and now this dark force that can possese people. Does anyone see a link between this and the final crisis darkseid? Only 6 day to omega. Cant wait

@LEEE

I know what you are saying but I am still looking forward to it. I also understand why people would rather see Darkseid in a movie. Somehow I do not see a long titanic fight because it is Smallville.

For a show that was never supposed to be about real SuperHeros I am just so thrilled that in the end I got to see elements of the JSA, JLA, Legion and Teen Titans. I never expected Smallville to give me that.

@weneedrevelation - dude, awesome clip. Though it isn't sticking to the source material (as usual for dc animation). In the comic that fight is much better, mainly because you finally see Supes cutting loose against a GOD. Don't understand why they would change it, other than to empower supergirl fans. Just dumb. Fun to watch, but dumb to change that much.
Spoiler aler!!!
At that point in the comic, supergirl isn't able to figh

Spoiler alert for comic readers!!
At that point in the comic supergirl is supposedly turned to ash by Darkseids omega beams. This inspires superman to beat the holy crap out of darkseid and place him into the Source wall.
The way they did it in that clip is so obviously looking to build up supergirl, and completely misses on the chance to Finally show superman cutting loose.

@TheDarqueOne - That isn't the first time a reference like that has been made in a DC Animated movie.

Totally disagree. The movie isn't called supergirl, it's called apokolips. The reason they did this was ONLY to placate supergirl fans. It doesn't make sense for her to fight darkseid. The redeeming moment for her was jumping in the way of the omega beams. She isn't strong enough to fight darkseid, she'd die from one hit of omega beams. They explained superman being able to survive them because his power level has increased from solar exposure over the years. Supergirl is powerful, but not on that level...yet. It just comes down to DC animation never wanting to show supes cut loose (for what reason I'll never know), and frankly to get girls to like it.
