Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has revealed that Carlo Marks has been cast to play Steven Swift, also known as "Warrior Angel." And yes, this is Chloe's new love interest. Mark's previously appeared as Chloe's fiance in the alternate-reality episode "Apocalypse" back in Season 7.

Wasn't warrior angel a comic book hero in the smallville universe? Like a fictional character that was suposed to be clark's model for superman.

lame name! I would make a different name...one
that's a little corny but still cool! Warrior Angel is
just CORNY! Oh, well that's Smallville for ya but
I'm still a diehard fan!

Yeah, I'm also curious who he is gonna be. I heard that this episode was supposed to be like a comic con, so it would make sense if he was an actor playing the character at the show. Not entirely sure what the appeal would be to a girl like Chloe though.

Season 9 kicks some ass.

It is the episode where they go to "metro-con" so there's no question that he will be a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude.......in other words a guy portraying warrior angel at the comic con not a "real" warrior angel.
