Well that's that. I was first in the OLIVIA MUNN post. Somone insulted me for being first sort of and also saying being first is passe. Then my first post was removed by someone later on. Well, :( That sucks. I disagree with them. It is enjoyable to try to be first. It creates comraderie for the site between members. Go Comic Book Movies!

You know why WELLING appeared this year,,, becoz he and the SMALLVILLE team was scared they didn't more have anymore fans after last season lol!!! ; D

But its true! ; )

It only took them guys, to make doomsday soooo lame, should've left im alone for the big screen the dumb a$$e$!

DC Universe hero cameos is the only thing that can save SMALLVILLE now! Though to ever put Darkseid in it or it really will suck, not that it don't already lol!

Like a lot of people, I was feeling pretty "done" with Smallville in season eight, feeling the show had failed to come anywhere near embracing its potential. That being said, having sat down with cast and crew at Comic-Con, they instantly got me sucked back into it. If half of what they're talking about is achieved in season nine, Smallville may finally become the show fans have been wanting it to be. We'll see, but I'm now more hopeful than I ever thought I would be.

the reason the show failed is they got crappy writers that obviously do not really care about the characters, like the original writers did from season 1 and up!

Only things i actually like in SMALLVILLE was KARA when she was a reg and GREEN ARROW! Hopefully your right ED! Infact you probably are as i reckon they can see they've messed it up an are trying to fix it by the looks of it!

Gotta say though after seeing INSTIGOR GIRLS SMALLVILLE trailer, it does look pretty good! As a die-hard (was) fan, im keeping my fingers crossed! ; )

I think im too laid back for this message board. I don't get my panties in a bunch when a season sucks. Most times its just popcorn TV for me.

Im just glad he have some sort of costume...
again something is better than nothing.

This show has done something that I wish the movie would do Have fun stop dumping the character down like they did with Batman in the dark Knight, if people think its too cartoonist or too much like the comics tell them to F off

Vonstallin noted that they've already messed up the Superman legend. I have now taken this official position (like anyone will care): Smallville represents an alternate timeline. Kind of like the altered timeline of the new Star Trek movie. The old timeline is there to enjoy on DVD or something, but Smallville represents an alternative view of how the legend will go.

So glad I got that out of my system.
