@Superman1991....I concede that they would have run the risk of just another L&C, but Smallville has better villians than L&C ever did and a far superior Lex Luthor. A fully realized and suited up Superman would be kicking ass and taking names so I think it would be better than L&C. Also, L&C never had the Justice League or Watchtower.

This movie for me had no meaning. Story was completely hollow, and none of the characters stood out to me. Sadly within the year I will have forgotten it completely.
