Serinda Swan first played Zatanna in last season's "Hex" episode, like one of the good things to come out of season eight.
From Swan herself telling TV Guide: “There was always the hint that she might return one day, so I was keeping my fingers crossed, i love the cast and I really like the character."
"Zatanna's return, CW is keeping super-duper-silent, but knowing the character and what she's capable of, it's going to be something pretty interesting," Swan teases.
Reportedly having aced her "Smallville" audition she recorded Zatanna's spells onto her own iPod, and then played them back and studying them in reverse, Swan says, "I'm definitely going to have to brush up on my backwards-speaking. It was a fine art to learn!"
Serinda Swan is also on the big screen, next in "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" release date for that is February the 12th 2010 and she's also in the "Tron" sequel which we all know about here at CBM and that's due out in cinemas December 2010. So the actress has been a busy bee.

A little bit about Serinda Swan, she was born 11th of July 1984 and was born in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Swan is 5'7" and she is of Spanish, Scottish, Irish and English descent. A big fan of Archie comics and her favorite comic book super hero is Zatanna. Well thats a bit of luck lol.
She's also appeared in TV shows like Blood Ties and Supernatural, and movies "Beyond Loch Ness" and "Niel and Nikki".
Serinda does do modeling though she prefers acting and she continues to balance both careers. Heres some of her photos, now ain't i sweet.
LEEE777 - Damn, cant wait to see Zatanna back, Serinda Swan was perfect casting for the role and played her well, hey if all goes to plan and we see more of her, i personally would love CW to go further with the character and see a TV movie or special of the life and times of Zatanna, how about you?
