Who is "Harry Kent JR"? No idea. However, squint your eyes and look on over to the right and you'll see the headstone for "Jonathan Kent", Clark Kent's adoptive father who will be played by Kevin Costner is Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. The following photo was found by Superman Homepage. So, who wants to bet that he dies during the tornado, inspiring Clark to move to Metropolis and become Superman?

He always dies. Why can't he just live for once?

Post-Crisis Birthright Jonathan lived for quite a while. He did die eventually but lived on past Clark's time in Metropolis as Superman. This looks like he'll die while Clark is still a kid. Damn still with the donner references in this film.

It strikes me as too "cute" when Clark can go home to Smallville visit mommy and daddy (a la Lois & Clark).

His story has much more weight when his mentor/earth-father is dead.

Why do they always kill off Jonathan?! Snyder's not being very original for someone who wants to bring a fresh take on the Man of Steel. For once, can't they keep him alive long enough on the big screen to see his son as the hero he helps make him? This is getting tired. They're are others that were in his life they could have picked to kick the bucket. Jonathan could have at least been in a coma or something for Clark to learn and know his limits when it comes to saving lives.
