Harry over at Ain't It Cool News is reporting that a "reliable" source of his says that there will be a Superman cameo in the upcoming Green Lantern film! Personally, I'm hoping it will be Tom Welling from Smallville to be cast as The Man Of Steel!

First of if Superman will be in The Gren Lantern do a crossover of charactors like marvel did have Brandon Routh play him and then have The justice League get assembled and Bale Has HAS HAAASSS to be Batman

I definitely agree but who knows. Nonetheless, I feel it won't be a cameo in the form of Superman appearing alongside the characters saying "hey" or something of the sort. I see it as you do, an excerpt in a newspaper about the poster boy battling or saving someone, a mention by Hal about the hero or something along those lines. The physical representation of Superman where you can clearly see him, I highly doubt they'll take this route but who knows?

Christian Bale, mediocre Batman.

I heard or read that the Supes cameo was something along the lines of Abin Sur's ring flying past the Kents' farm, and then it flies by a football coach with "Gardner" on the back of his shirt.

Routhe's contract expired, I can almost guarentee that he wont be in GL. Regardless of "rabid smallville fans" Routhe didn't go over that great either. Teabag is right, if he had chops he would have stood out in that shitfest movie. All he did was mimic Reeve, I don't see how anyone is that impressed with him. While welling is no Brando, he doesn't try to parrot anyone else's performance AND he has stuck with the show for 9 seasons. That's admirable.

tyler- tom hasent failed to be superman and if they do have the cameo in it i would like to see welling as superman or clark kent cuz welling is good as both of them as you could see in the new season since he superman but has all black and clark at the same time

Welling hasn't proved anything that makes him good for Superman. He's an okay Clark, but he fails at trying to be anything more.
