How is Jor El communicating with him? Is this like an advanced version of the the Fortress' Krypotonian technology. It's like he's alive.

I will def go see this movie...I just hope that this campaign draws in the business they need to start DCU. Plus if I'm being honest. ..these new trailers look great, the first few didn't...and that has, sometimes in the past*, indicated quality in films. I truly hope that this film is as good as they are portrying it, I'm very excited. They already have this though, I went back and watched Returns trailer, and truthfully, it sucked, I remember it sucking, and feel good about this

@ NeoBaggins

I am sure it a holographic type of technology where there is certain recordings to answer his questions.

FreedomFreeLife - 5/26/2013, 5:43 AM
If already everything blows up in first movie, then what they are going to do next?
Well, its first movie, origin movie, and then it has so much action? So, first part they show origin story, and then when he becomes a superman, then there is non stopping action till the end. Looks like transformers 3

@JoeMomma29 Yeah, like a more intimate version of the Donner technology. Reminds me of I'ROBOT. Spooner could have a nearly coherent conversation with that dead dudes holo recording.

Jor-El communicating after his death must be some cool Kryptonian tech.
That's a super advanced world & Jor-El is probably the biggest brain on Krypton.

If you think about it,Kal-El must inherit his parents mental acuteness, therefore Superman is physically powerful AND he's highly intelligent..more so than most humans aside from guys like Lex Luthor.

@ McGee

Imagined if that really happened, OMG all the Marvelites we be all over that non stop.

But then we can say it the most important twist DC/WB has ever taken on old villain.

Or the real Zod is out there!!!!

@sameolthing yes, people often forget Superman is really intelligent.

won't really watch it, no point in watching a tv spot filmed from a tv...

Jor-El spoke to Superman in the original Christopher Reeve version. It's just an advanced recording that answers his questions. The movie looks great.
beane2099
beane2099 - 5/26/2013, 8:31 AM
Is Supes communicating with Jor-El really that mind boggling? Intractive holograms have been a sci fi staple for how long? They did it on 60's Trek. They also did it in the original movies. Only then they seemed to imply that Jor-El anticipated his son's questions in advance. When Hackman interacted with it, the responses didn't match cause it wasn't made for him.

NeoBaggins
Most likely an advanced hologram. In the animated series he actually goes to a hologram Krypton and walks on it's land.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 5/26/2013, 9:28 AM
@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 The simple question is getting me pumped. I'm reading Birthright and Lex has environmental hologram technology. I'm certain this film delves into Krypton in a way no other live-action Superman has, but I'm anticipating the Fortress of Solitude and hope the content is extensive/revealing.

Some may not like Allstar Superman animation/art, but it plays with the weight of a live-action film and has some really good Fortress of Solitude scenes.

I'm hyped.
Cant wait to see the terrifying dream sequence in this film. It sounded epic.
