According to the guys over at Moviehole, a couple of their more reliable scoopers have been in touch over the weekend with some very interesting news regarding upcoming Superman flick, Man of Steel. With Warner Bros. hiring David Goyer to pen Godzilla, Zack Snyder has had to look elsewhere, going back to 300 collaborator Kurt Johnstad and even letting Jonah Nolan (brother of The Dark Knight Rises director, Christopher) take a look.

Now that Goyer’s is off The Man of Steel and on to Godzilla, Snyder got Kurt Johnstad (whose his regular, go-to writer, including 300, that Last Photograph project that Bale’s attached to now originating from Snyder’s noggin and that 300 spin-off) to take over for rewrites. Jonah Nolan took a pass on it too.

What do you guys think of this news? Before you get too worried, it would appear that the two have been brought in for some simple rewrites (fairly common with movies such as this) but it's unclear as to just how much work they've don on the script. B suree to share your thoughts on this news in the usual place!
