TMNT fans have been anxiously awaiting another look at the upcoming Mutant Mayhem animated movie ever since the first teaser was released to a very positive reception, and Paramount Pictures has finally announced a date for the second trailer, which will be with us on May 31.

In the meantime, we have a new theatrical poster featuring the four Heroes in a Half-Shell, Leo, Donnie, Raph and Mikey, taking to the streets on their skateboards.

The one-sheet also reveals that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is set to hit theatres a couple of days earlier than originally advertised on August 2.

@PatientXero - The synopsis could literally describe any of the modern movies lol they need to try something different

@UncleHarm1 - I don’t disagree. Mario for example. Was a suitable kids movie, but that’s all it was. Just color and noises with a huge McGuffin in the form of a star

@PatientXero - I really don’t know what the obsession is with taking characters that used to be pretty and making them ugly.

I would guess it is the ugly writers or producers that want to “see themselves” in the character. We at least know that was the case with Velma.

I get secret of the ooze vibes from that poster. One day I would love a TMNT movie that was closer to the original 1990 movie. Maybe this movie will surprise me.

I watched the first TMNT movie with my youngest Grandweasel on Saturday. The movie still holds up. We ate nothing but junk food & laughed our a$$es off.

Then I tossed him back to his Mother. A great day.

@DocSpock - the first TMNT movie is my favorite film of all time. I'm not saying it's the BEST film of all time, but I love it. Definitely still holds up.

So no one wants to address the fact that Donnie is riding his razor scooter a different direction than everyone else and seemingly into oncoming traffic? There’s a car right there. Did he not look both ways?

@tmp3 -

Not in the slightest, my friend. If anything, the more trailers they release, the less believable those early reactions seem.

@DrReedRichards - cgi looks really bad so far. but the early word makes me really interested. idk if it'll be as good as the first reactions claimed, but if it's not even good then that'll be a lot of egg on these reactor's faces lol
