Rob Paulsen is well known for voicing hundreds of popular characters in animation for decades. Some of his most popular roles have been Yakko from Animaniacs, Pinky from Pinky & The Brain, Snowball from Rick and Morty, Max from Mighty Max, PJ from A Goofy Movie, Spike from A Land Before Time, Carl Wheezer from Jimmy Neutron, and far too many others to name.

Despite having been involved with so many big productions and popular characters, Paulsen admits that his work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the most universally beloved. Spanning generations, Rob has had the opportunity to voice two of the four turtles.

In the '90s series, Paulsen voiced Raphael, and he returned to the franchise in 2012 with the newer animated series to switch it up and play Donatello. Now that the actor has survived a battle with throat cancer and returned to working with Steven Spielberg on Animaniacs as Yakko and Pinky, we got in touch to chat about his storied career and what it was like to voice half of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as which one he hopes to tackle next.

You can hear Rob's thoughts on the Turtles around the 24-minute mark in our chat below. Rob uses the voices of both turtles and many of his other characters throughout the exclusive interview. Be sure to let us know what you think in the usual spot!
