Last week was Aquaman Week and this one is going to celebrate the Scarlet Speedster, Barry Allen. Played by Ezra Miller (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) in Justice League, we're getting a very different take on the Fastest Man Alive as he'll still be a student in the DC Films Universe who has yet to qualify as a CSI. That makes the hero even younger than the version played on TV by Grant Gustin.

In the video below, there's new footage of the Flash speeding into action and a shot of the hero looking a little perplexed by the work of his fellow team members. He seems a pretty good fit for the role!

The hero will race into his own solo movie in Flashpoint, a release which is expected to feature the likes of Wonder Woman and Cyborg. Whether or not it will be a time-travel/alternate reality adventure in the same vein as the comic book it's named after obviously remains to be seen. Are you excited to see the Flash on the big screen in Justice League next month? Share your thoughts in the usual place.
