THE FLASH Actor Grant Gustin Reacts To His First Look At Ezra Miller's JUSTICE LEAGUE Costume

We knew Zack Snyder and co. were going to have to do something to make their big-screen take on The Flash stand apart from the more conventional outfit sported by Grant Gustin on the CW TV series, and early concept art seemed to suggest that they were taking a more armoured, Injustice-inspired approach to the costume.

Sure enough, yesterday's big reveal confirmed as much, as we got our first proper look at Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster as he'll appear in Justice League. Screenrant was on hand to find out what Gustin thought of the new suit, and, for the most part, he seemed to like it.

"Oh sick, I haven’t seen it [is handed phone displaying Justice League image]… They’re completely different. Yeah, I mean I was kind of expecting this, I heard it was going to be kind of like Injustice. I hadn’t seen this yet, what else is out. Sorry I’m scrolling through the whole thing, I haven’t seen this picture. Yeah, that’s sick. Um… yeah, it’s sick. I’m glad it’s really different though [laughs]. Because ours is like a street, vintage feel that I don’t think has been done in any other version of the character."

It is definitely different. Too different, perhaps? Let us know which you prefer below.

@DashParr - I agree... and I don't even like The Flash TV show but there's no denying the costume is great. Love Miller's one too.

Ezra will be the best thing out of this movie.

And I'm not really getting why the teaser is getting praised so much, why did you guys think it was so great? <- genuine question.

Thought it was fine/ pretty shitty tbh.

But WW's trailer on the other hand...

sweeeeeet baby jesus that was dope. Gadot seemed like she stepped her game up too which is a plus.

@TheFro - The F*CKING JL interacting with each other for the first time, u kiddin bro? It's a BLAST!

@Doomsday8888 - Yeah I guess. But I'm the sort of fan who looks for the stuff deeper than sheer novelty.

I guess that pile of shit BvS just really burned me out on this universe. SS and WW should restore my faith, I just won't be able to get hyped for JL until they release.

@TheFro - U gotta remember they haven't filmed most of the movie yet. And they also didn't want to reveal too many plot details about t either. They were farther along in the process of BvS two years ago when they showed us a clip of Batman standing next to the bat signal with Superman flying over him that didn't even make it to the movie. This is super early stuff, but I was just amazed we even got an actual trailer. I though there would be a scene that the public didn't get to see.

@kong - Yeah I recognise that, but that's no reason to overhype a mediocre teaser.

I'm pretty sure Guardians of the Galaxy was in the same situation and they released an absolutely awesome trailer (Con '14 I think). It was better edited, had a better flow and the music choice was fresh asf.

Correct me if I'm wrong about these movies being in similar development stages tho.

The CW version is by far better than the new movie version. The Ezra Miller suit just looks impractical and unnecessary. It's definitely taking cues from the Injustice costume, which I have always felt was a far stretch from any of the comics. It is what it is though, to be honest, the only thing I thought was good about the Justice League trailer was Ezra Miller himself

@Necratis - Agreed about the last part. But the suit I feel has too much black, but other than that it's great.

The Justice League movie looks cool. I just don't care about the universe it's establishing. But, the characters look fine, and the humor seems to be there. Just not sure I'll bother to watch it. Especially since Superman will still look the same, and most likely act as bland as boring as before. Flash's suit looks ok but I just wish that they would have just had Grant Gustin play him and have him crossover with the movies. I LOVE having shared universes and it's stupid that WB/DC is doing this.

@ThisIsKurvos - Gustin is a TV actor; he's passable on the CW, but there is no way he would be able to hold his own in these movies.

Miller may not be the most accurate choice be he is far more competent than Gustin.

Looks good. I like the one in the video game best still.
