"Rogue Air" - As Wells (Tom Cavanagh) once again gets the upper hand on the S.T.A.R. Labs team, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes he needs to make a big move and reaches out to an old foe, Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), for help. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) warn Barry that Cold can’t be trusted. True to form, Cold has his own agenda that involves the meta-humans trapped in the containment cells. As things seem to be going from bad to worse, The Flash gets reinforcements – Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) and Firestorm (guest star Robbie Amell). Doug Aarniokoski directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing.

For me personally it feels like this show is giving in to its soapy tendencies more and more down the stretch which is weakening it.

@Dev7

I just figured Grodd was remembering about that. It could have just been a mistake. A little nitpick. I think there was plenty to like about this episode and show! How about you?

@Bulldawg2014 I totally agree. Both Arrow and the Flash has suffered from either focusing too much on the romantic subplots and/or not writing it well. The A plots on both shows are outstanding. However, when you add the middle school love plots, it weakens the entire show.

For example, I wished that either Barry/The Flash or Joe would have had a Hawkeye/Scarlet Witch moment like in Avengers AOU when basically Hawkeye told Scarlet Witch basically to either stay in that building and cry or sack up and fight. These shows are spending way too much time babysitting the main female character feelings.

was it the drugs or was that the best cgi character in a live action tv show? like damn! CW must have given them a budget bump! they ARE the best rated show on the network at this point.

Only gripe:Seriously -- S.T.A.R. Labs comes in second only to the Foundry for people just waltzing in whenever the hell they want to. How can they possibly get away with having a basement full of dangerous lunatics when people can come and go at will up top?

liked the episode, Iris prevented it from being better.
I'm just gonna say that I f*cking hate Iris. I didn't liked her before, but now I hate her. and Barry is going to marry this chick? I feel sorry for him already.

Great episode, Grodd was intimidating as he should be. That fight between Flash and him was dope, And i have to agree with some of the users now. Iris is annoying and seems like she has random mood swings at times, It's not actress's fault. But the way they write her character, Other than that little gripe. The episode was good, And next week looks like it's going to be fun!
