Can't wait for tonite's episode to wrap up the season! I'm not sure how the Flash movie can ever compete... fingers crossed - there's room enough for a whole family of speedsters!

Essentially, Barry won't be able to change time, right? Because if he does save his mother, then maybe Reverse-Flash isn't stuck in the year 2000 and Harrison and Tessa Wells still end up creating the particle accelerator only in 2020. Barry won't have his abilities if he saves his mother, so I don't see how he can since the series already gave us a timestamp for when Barry originally was granted his abilities.

No, Barry will not save his mother. They will make it where he goes back to do so, but realizes he can't or it will totally mess things up, just to pull on your heart strings and leave you hanging till next season.

Love the show. Ready for the finale tonight.

@misterbatman212

Better effects is the only thing you got over The CW's Flash.

You have no clue how the writing will be and you have no clue if people will actually respect the material or ham it up.

Would be funny if Barry saves his mom and his dad ends up becoming the Flash…

@misterbatman The only thing grant gustin have proved is that he's good as a bashful dufus. He's your typical talentless teen drama actor that cannot express any range of real emotion and he's constantly tucking his chin into his neck instead of emoting with his eyes and face.

He sucks, like, really bad. He plays the part with no authority or conviction. He's not believable as a csi who regularly sees gruesome crime. That's because he plays the part as an innocent virginal teen.

I cant say Ezra miller is any better, but at least he comes from a better pedigree of acting.

If both the movie and the TV show are teen drama that focus more on how the characters feel than the meaning of superpowers, something has gone terribly wrong in the dcu.

flash shouldn't be an emulation of marvel style story telling. That's exactly what gustin is, and that's totally what man of steel was avoiding.

Ill wait for the film to develop, but I hope the flash is a serious film, the character deserves it.

batman once said 'barry Allen is the man I would have wanted to grown up to be if my parents werent murdered.'

if we are getting anything less than that, they are doing a disservice to the fans, and are abusing the league's coolest character.

So either he saves her and Flashpoint happens far too soon (for my liking anyway) OR he doesn't save her and then.....decides to save her again when they eventually do a Flashpoint inspired storyline on the show?

Dunno how they'd work that one out.

It's going to be a bit disappointing, but he will not save her, and then cry alot.

@misterbatman212

Thanks for calling me Mister Batman too, lol, but there has been rumors that this Flash movie will be the lighter aspects of the DCCU, so you may be disappointed anyways.

@Slickrickdesigns - That'd be awesome, doubtful but very awesome!!
@Jollem - Very interesting.
@MattBellissimo - It's it's own universe. So it won't be Flashpoint per say. It will probably be an alternate universe (Flashpoint was not the first time a speedster has altered things) where a lot has changed, and they may use some ideas from it like Flash's mother being the trigger, Flash not having powers, Cold is a hero, etc. but otherwise it will be very different.

Is the Reverse Flash still faster than the Flash? If so, do we know why?
TonyChu
TonyChu - 5/19/2015, 11:04 AM
@rsahadi The team learned that not only Wells faked his injury to draw off suscpiscion but under his wheel chair was a Tachyon particle accelerator that allows him to harness more of the speed force than Barry. So this entire season he was basically getting more powerful than Barry.

Somebody better tell Barry's Dad that visitation phones are subject to monitoring and recording while he's just slinging secret identities around in their conversation.

Thawne:
You know something, Flash there's a huge difference between being a hero and being the fastest man alive. The hero never gets to save his mother.

Barry:
My name is, Barry Allen and the difference, Thawne is I'll keep running until I have nothing left. Until, I've run out of answers. Until, I run out of time. (Takes off in a Flash of Golden Lightning)

Thawne:
I know you will, "Flash" and that's the "Point"!

Aren't those prison phone calls recorded? Especially with convicted murderers? That whole prison system knows who the Flash is now. Barry is going to have to go back in time and keep his father from spilling the beans.
