DREDD's Mark Digby Has Joined Warner Bros' THE FLASH As The Film's New Production Designer

Despite the film's long and troubled history, the DCEU's solo outing for Ezra Miller's The Flash is slowly coming together in a more concrete way. The Jonathan Goldstein and Francis Daley led movie, which is now said to be a dedicated Flash solo project rather than an adaptation of Flashpoint, is seemingly heading closer and closer to production.

Back in March, it was reported that Warner Bros was looking to shoot the movie in Vancouver where they had previously shot 2013's Man of Steel and only this week Kieresy Clemons, who was originally brought onboard for Dope director Rick Famuyiwa's version of the film and had her scenes cut in 2017's Justice League, confirmed on Conan that she will indeed appear as Iris West.

All of this led many to believe that we would see Ezra Miller in front of the camera as Barry Allen sooner rather than later and now, Omega Underground have added legitimacy to this belief. The site has revealed that Mark Digby has joined the project as the film's production designer. Digby is best known for his frequent collaborations with Alex Garland serving as production designer on such films as DREDD, Ex Machina and Annihilation.

While no production date or expected release date has been officially announced by Warner Bros if these developments persist it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we could see the film in 2020.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Digby's work? Are you excited to see Ezra Miller's return as The Flash? What do you want for the film? Leave your thoughts below.

I feel so giddy that WB is taking their time and picking the right folks for their upcoming movies. Finally they are putting the same love into the DCEU as other franchises under WB.

Oh Yeah The DCEU is dead!

@Kevwebsz -
And still moving faster than Gambit.
By the way, I'm beginning to think Gambit will happen now that Comcast is mucking up the Disney/Fox deal.

If only I didnt hate Ezra as Flash, a solo Flash film has so much potential to be a breathtaking movie experience.
