The moment Branaugh was announced as the director, I was sure that Thor would be a decent film at worst, with a chance to be great. He was a fantastic choice. Not only does he have the classical "chops" for Thor, but he brings in an audience wider than would otherwise be attracted to the usual CBM. I am really looking forward to seeing Thor.

The reporter seemed a bit...condescending when she was discussing Thor and its comic roots. But that's the elitist mentality of the press in this country.
