More muscle, no beard and a better costume. Then it would be perfect! :P

Not bad. Dude needs to get on the gas, pack on a few.

The beard would bother me less if it didn't make him look like a Norse Kenny Rogers...

The only thing I liked about Ultimate Thor was the goatee.I prefer him to have facial hair.It makes the long, blond hair look less effeminate.Goatee or beard.I think it would make the actor look a little older, too.

This costume isn't that far off from what we've seen him wear before. Everyone may as well stop complaining about his muscle. The only way they could have got the size right would have been to get Tripple H , and we are all in agreement that would have been bad. If they can get the cape to shoot upwards out of the back of his tunic like it does in the comics, it would add the illusion of size.

THIS is how Thor should look in the movie (minus the way the cape sticks up on the shoulders)

I agree with having a bit of a beard, without one with the long flowing blond hair he will look like a Loreal model.

Hey Zach baby;)..you wanna play sometime big boy? xxx

I actually think that this...

...is the right look for Hemsworth in Thor. Hair not to long, bit of a beard - the best and most realistic look IMO. :)

josh---- There is noooo way that they are going to get Hemsworth to look the proper size. I'm sure that there will be some sort of compromise on his costume. The very least they can do is let him grow his damn hair long.:)

Actually if they go with the mail costume, they could bulk the Hell out of it ala Hellboy.

pretty cool, but like said above a little more muscle since he is a god,and the suite should look a little more leathery and battle worn.

A slight beard, long messy hair, and costume that looks
like armor, not leather.

the fur around the cape looks like crap

i say no beard. 616 thor is most known as having no bear at all. lose the fur. thor has never had any fur on any of his costumes, plus it just looks lame. the hammer needs a loop at the end, that would make all the difference
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 11/30/2009, 6:38 PM
@ hawksblueye

thats a really good point! they COULD make him look a little bigger if they used the chainmail. and it looks a little less hokey with the chain mail!

oh, and no fur on the cape, please. no fur at all actually.

oh but Zach... internet winking at you is just all that I live for ;);;);););)

no, seriously who the [frick] are you anyway ?lol

As for the picture.. I really just don't know what to say.
It's ok.
I like the helmet. I think Mjolnir needs a wider handle and a thong. It's metal and that's good because the business end is made of Uru.

lol @ Multi: Those might even be like black sweats or something man lol

thank god it's just fan-made.. i'd like him to have that hair brad pitt had in troy.. then a little goatey, and a trimmed-like beard to go with it.. and muscles please, my goodness gracious..

It's alright. Unfortunately I must say it does remind me a little too much of this clown:

I am sure the movie version will be a lot more grandiose.

And for those that commented that Hemsworth is too slight.. well I am quite sure we can expect Branaugh to go with a 300 abs/ Vinni Jones Juggernaut type of effect.
I mean why not when the whole world seems to despise guys that are ripped :( *snif*

Looks good to me. As long as it doesn't look cartoon-ish it works for me.
It'll be the same challenge for the Captain America costume to not make it look too ridiculous.

Okay, here's my two cents. The pic at the very top...sorta diggin' it. The next pic down....go suck a lemon. Pic after that...I don't want to be a douche...but are you, uh...are you a fan of Judy GArland, too? Darth Mulder's pic of that one-shot TV movie that had the Hulk and Thor...yeah, what the hell were we thinking in those days? As for the last pic...that's never gonna happen, son. It's TOO GOOD, even Stan the man would never give a green light to a Thor like that on the big screen.
