Watched it. It's fun... I'm not sure but I'll be rating it less than the first Thor movie. It's kind of missing something. But I love what they did with Asgard, it's so alive... I want to watch a whole THOR movie just in Asgard. :)

I saw it tonight. It was pretty good (Better than Iron Man 2) story was by the numbers, humour didn't bother me, there was more humour in The Avengers.

However post credits sequence looks [frick]ing cheap and awful very jarring.

@Batmaniac, thanks for telling us. Now what are you having for breakfast?

At least the all out trolls are fun. The passive agressive trolls are just lame.

@Batmaniac, that's the point, no one cares that you're not going to see the movie. Why post? It was a pointless post.

We've all had to endure your hand wrangling for weeks about your caution and indecision about seeing Thor to now your inevitable decision to skip it.

Thank goodness we no longer have to hear from you in the Thor discussion thread. Because of course you will not be commenting on something you haven't seen.

This movie can't be any worse than IM3, MOS, and KA2.

"You know what, [frick] it. I'm going to go see the movie. I hope its good, but the chances of it being good are slim at this point. If it isn't good, I'll be sure to let you know."

*facepalm*

In the name of all that's holy.

Frick me!

LOL @ anyone pretending to listen to the reviews. People have already made up their minds to see it and like it or not.

To this day there are people who act like MOS was a great critical success when the critics thought it was mediocre at best.

I won't speak for Ramon but I have liked what I've seen from the trailers and clips. It looks more visceral than the first Thor movie.

RamonSuarez

I particularly don't care either way about Thor to be honest. My least anticipated of all the upcoming Marvel Studios films. In terms of overall anticipation its:

1. Avengers: Age of Ultron
2. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
3. Antman
4. Guardians of the Galaxy
5. Thor
6. Old Boy
7. Amazing Spiderman

.............

1,879. X-Men: Days of Future Past
1,880. Another Batman and Superman film
TheWolverine08
TheWolverine08 - 10/30/2013, 6:41 AM
@Jcfrommars9 Agreed. I liked the first Thor, and this those look better. The pretty positive pre release reviews have made me confident about it, but I won't make up my mind about it before it. I think massive expectations followed by huge disappointments have been the CBM communities biggest problem this year. Pretty much what caused all the MOS controversy on here.

1) Never said I won't watch them. I'll get the pirate. But they are my least anticipated films.

2) There are plenty of Batman/Superman films. They just happen to be animated.

TheWolverine08
TheWolverine08 - 10/30/2013, 6:51 AM
I don't think people on here get that hyped for animated films to be honest. A live action Batman/Superman team up is huge for the CBM industry. That and Avengers 2 coming out in the same year.

jcfrommars9 - 10/30/2013, 6:52 AM
@TheWolverine08

And there's never been a Batman/Superman teamup....................................................................

Perhaps, but my anticipation for the movie isn't very high. One, because of all the Batman and Superman movies over the last seven years. I've had my fill. Two, because of Snyder and Goyer. I don't trust them. X-Men: Days of Future Past however is a different story.
TheWolverine08
TheWolverine08 - 10/30/2013, 6:53 AM
Anyone notice how Thor articles have become the new battleground places? Just like how Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel were in the summer. LMAO!
RamonSuarez
RamonSuarez - 10/30/2013, 6:55 AM
Yes, because the great Oscar award winning talent of Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill will make the award winning animation Bruce Timm's staff pale in comparison.

That sentence was there to make a point. But that may just be the saddest point ever. 2013, and there's never been a Batman/Superman teamup

Feck me

TheWolverine08 - 10/30/2013, 6:58 AM
@jcfrommars Ah, I could see how your not to excited, but I'm personally excited for all CBMs coming up in the next two years besides Ninja Turtles. Despite being a huge Turtle fan, I can see Jonathan Liebman and co are just glamouring it up with special effects and not creating a real story. I'll check it out if the reviews are somewhat passable.
