Raimi in his old days would've made a fantastic Thor film. But he is on the downside of his career

Okay, I gotta admit that Thor 1 is not as bad as I've made it out to be but it's still vastly inferior to every other MCU film INCLUDING Iron Man 2 & 3. 

I have lots of issues with the film one of which is much misplaced and extremely unfunny humor. There is also the fact that the romance of the film is absolutely horrible and among the worst I've ever seen in my life. The scenes in Jotunheim were fantastic though and I do have to admit that the CGI in Asgard was pretty good. But all the people wearing goofy looking hats and crap made me cringe. And I hate Hemsworth in the role his acting is so ridiculously cheesy and not believable in the slightest. Plus, Thor seemed like a little pretty boy when I've always thought of him as a big tough guy and a warrior, Hemsworth Thor was a pampered little pretty boy. I find Thor 1 watchable due to fantastic scenes in Jotunheim and interactions between Loki and Odin are great too, and the fact that it set up the villain for Avengers. Outside of those three things....the film is shit. That being said, I am still going to see Thor 2 and I hope to be proven wrong because I'm going in with incredibly low expectations.

Even Marvel's worst is better than DC's best! MCU PHASE 2 BABY PHASE 2!!!!! Don't worry, dcites, maybe a JLA movie could work - after the next 4 Batman/Superman movies lol.

Seriously?? Marvel's worst is better than DC's best?? So you're saying films like Elektra and the 2 Ghost Riders were better than films like Dark Knight?? I get we are all entitled to opinion, but that's just bogus.

I'm not even a "DCite" I actually prefer Marvel as a whole but that statement is just nuts.
