Thor: Love and Thunder is definitely one of 2022's most exciting blockbusters, and for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, getting to see the God of Thunder in action again is a truly electrifying prospect. Of course, he won't be alone in Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok sequel because Natalie Portman's Jane Foster is set to suit up as the Mighty Thor after being deemed worthy of wielding Mjolnir.

Both characters receive the spotlight in this newly revealed promo art from the movie, though it's the Worthy Thor's (we're guessing that's his official moniker here) Ravager look we've fallen in love with. Clearly, as a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor is gonna be ready to rock!

Finally, we also see Kork and Miek, and the latter's new look is definitely striking. It appears the alien now identifies as she, and this could be the first time we've seen a Marvel Studios movie or TV show address pronouns in that way (we're sure Miek identified as he last time we saw her).

Take a look at these Thor: Love and Thunder standees in the Tweets below:

The movie finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.

Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Sounds like an electrifying ride, eh?

Directed by Taika Waititi, the movie stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Russell Crowe, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, and Sean Gunn among others.

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.
