Thor: Love and Thunder is nearly here, and Hot Toys has today revealed a badass action figure that offers our best look yet at how the hero will look in the upcoming blockbuster.
Clad in red, blue, and gold, this is the most colourful take on Thor to date, and a design that definitely pays homage to the comic books (in this case, it's the battle armour designed by Walter Simonson and Sal Buscema). While the God of Thunder has worn a helmet on occasion, this design is likely to be welcomed by fans, especially if Thor wears it into battle.
The collectable figure is (obviously) based on the appearance of Chris Hemsworth, and features a head sculpt with a luminous reflective effect that accentuates Thor using his thunderous powers. It also features various LED light-up functions, with a light-up Stormbreaker, assorted lightning effect accessories, and a figure stand.
This Deluxe Version, meanwhile, includes a number of exclusive accessories and promises to be a must-have for Thor fans. With any luck, The Mighty Thor will be revealed soon!

The movie finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.
Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.
Directed by Taika Waititi, the movie stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Russell Crowe, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Karen Gillan, and Sean Gunn among others.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.
