We are all anxiously awaiting a second trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, but in the meantime you can check out some pretty cool new promo images for the Marvel threequel.

The pics were spotted over at Red Chapter Clothing (via @Madara633 on Twitter), and provide new looks at most of the main characters from the film, including Hulk, Hela, Loki, Valkyrie, and, of course, The God of Thunder himself.

Mark Ruffalo expressed excitement at having seen the new Thor: Ragnarok trailer last night, which obviously sent hype levels into overdrive. We should see it for ourselves at SDCC next week, but for now check out the pics below and let us know what you think in the usual place.

@TheManWithoutFear -

She looks 'alright' to me.

They've got rid of most her green colour scheme probably to avoid the comparison's with Loki and because her character is seemingly being merged with 'Death' - as such she's a bit bland to look at in terms of costume design. Other than the helmet that is.

Most the other costumes are similar in the essence they abandon details in favour of two or so fairly vibrant colours. Thor's armour and Hulk's armour are the only ones that retain a tiny aspect of what they are meant to be, but thats probably due to the emphasis on Planet Hulk and the recogniseability of Thor's armour.

It's not bad, it's just underwhelming.

@jerryblake - Besides Hela I don't like anyones costume design in this movie. They ditched the awesome looking costumes from Dark World and gave everybody colored pieces of plastic for armor.

@CuddlyCereal - I agree. One of teh few redeeming and even GREAT points of TDW were the costumes and set designs.

@CuddlyCereal - I really like Thors design here (though I had no gripes with his other costumes). I also loved the blue metal of the armour and weapons.
Personally, I'm glad they went this way. To me all the Avenegrs (besides dr strange and black panther) all seem to have the same costumes. As in they all have a geometric style to the fabric cuts; they all feel like sports wear/ streamlined . I don't know how to explain it but they all look they have been designed together (whI have makes sense I suppose with the Avengers and Spiderman) but Antmans new suit also has it. They just seem to lack a personal flair (like Antmans original suit).
It works great with say the xmen who are all the same (mutants), but with the Avenegrs they are supposed to be a team of various different individuals hence would have different looks.

@StormXmen123 - I guess? Idk the random blue party city shoulder pads just seem like it's Marvel going look all our films are colorful now. I think both Hulk and Thor would look 100% better without them as their armor underneath actually looks pretty good.

@StormXmen123 - I also don't get your point where the Avengers look the same. Iron Man is Metal. Cap has thick cloth. Thor has leather. Vision is like weird fiber skin. Wanda has a red trench coat thing.

They all seem pretty different to me.

@CuddlyCereal - It's diffcult to explain. Yes obviously they all look different (hulk to black widow) but all their costumes all feel the same as if they were a sports line or made by the same designer, they are all streamlined and all the fabric has geometric cuts. As if a designer was tasked to create Wandas coat and black widows body suit and so on,
The best way I can put it is that, putting his obvious difference aside, Antman in his first suit would stand out against the team (as it has a retro feel with the he leather and metal design). However, with his new suit, he just "blends in", it's very streamlined and feels like it was designed to be part of the team.
Dr Strange doesn't have this problem. His costume stands out because it is richly textured and organic in shape.

@PantherKing - I'm interested in Loki's ruling situation. Did he just claim Odin last leaving him in charge? Or is he actively disguised as the all father? I'm thinking the latter judged by the first trailer. Also if Loki is in charge how does Thor feel about that? I'm guessing he's been on earth until Hela dispatches with him and the hammer. I'm looking more forward to this then Spiderman homecoming!
