SPOILERS: THOR: RAGNAROK Toy Seemingly Confirms GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 Connection

A new Funko Mystery Minifigure toy image seemingly confirms a very interesting connection between a character from Thor: Ragnarok and someone from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Possible SPOILERS ahead.

There's been a fan-theory doing the rounds for a while that Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster character from Thor: Ragnarok might turn out to be a Celestial, and this image of one of Funko's new Mystery Mini toys would seem to confirm it.

Of course, you can't always be certain that this type of thing will actually end up pertaining to the plot of the movie (we're looking at you, Iron Man 3 "Mandarin Attacks" LEGO set), but more often than not some intriguing tidbits can be gleaned.

If The Grandmaster is indeed a Celestial - and even half as powerful as Ego from Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 - then The God of Thunder and his pals might have an even bigger problem than Hela on their hands.

What do you guys think? Drop us a comment in the usual place.

Hopefully it's a decent character. The Grand Master is reminding me too much of that stupid Apartments.com commercial character he does. And boy do I hate that character. And apartments. And commercials. And more ands.

@mdwilliamson24 -

Given Gunn's comments it seems he is not going to use Adam Warlock, so you might be right.

Though if either is a celestial i dont see them surviving Avengers 3 & 4.

@KingNomarch - now THAT is what you call a gladiator match.
and I see Thor going for the Dark Souls approach: dodge, dodge, wait for the opening, strike.

@Spidey91 - I don't understand, I always thought the Dark Souls approach was cast Crystal Soul Spear until everything died?
